Electric stapler and sheet processing apparatus
An electric stapler includes a binding unit configured to perform binding processing on a sheet bundle by sequentially executing a clamping process of clamping the sheet bundle, a penetration process of penetrating a staple through the clamped sheet bundle, and a clinching process of pressing leg portions of the staple penetrating through the sheet bundle, a motor configured to drive the binding unit, and a controller configured to control the motor. The controller is configured to control the motor to execute the clamping on the sheet bundle or the pressing on the leg portions multiple times in the clamping process.

Printing system and printing method
A printing system, including a printing apparatus that sends a print paper after printing to a post-processing machine and a web buffer that temporarily holds a print paper after printing, is provided with: a required print time calculation unit that calculates a required print time for each job; an increase and decrease amount calculation unit that calculates an increase and decrease amount of a consumption amount of the buffer per set for each job on the basis of a difference between a minimum processing time required for a process in a post-processing machine and the required print time; a predicted value calculation unit that obtains a predicted value of the consumption amount of the web buffer by accumulating increase and decrease amounts; and a conveyance control unit that controls a conveyance speed of print paper on the basis of the predicted value.

BINDING MEMBER AND BINDING DEVICE
A binding member includes: an upper tooth that has an upper tooth form for forming unevenness in a bundle of recording materials; and a lower tooth that has a lower tooth form for forming unevenness in the bundle of recording materials and that forms a pair with the upper tooth. At least one of the upper tooth form and the lower tooth form is formed such that, in a sectional shape, a groove is formed in a trough portion of a concave portion of a tooth form and a length of an inclined portion which comes into contact with the bundle of recording materials is made small compared to a case where the inclined portion of the tooth form has reached a bottom of the trough portion.

IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING DEVICE AND METHOD
An image processing device includes: a fold unit that folds an adjustment sheet, in which an adjustment pattern including at least one line segment is formed, over the at least one line segment based on a predetermined reference fold position; an image reader that reads an image of the adjustment pattern of the adjustment sheet with the adjustment sheet folded by the fold unit unfolded; a position identifying unit that identifies, as a position of a fold line, a position of distortion of the at least one line segment or a predetermined position of an area which appears in the image of the adjustment pattern read by the image reader; and a fold position adjusting unit that adjusts a fold position of the fold unit based on a difference between the position of the fold line identified by the position identifying unit and the reference fold position.
Binding processing apparatus and image forming system
A binding processing apparatus includes a pair of pressing members each including a concave-convex portion configured to form a concave part and a convex part in a recording material bundle. The concave-convex portion includes protrusion portions. Aside surface of each protrusion portion is inclined so that the protrusion portion is widened from an apex of the protrusion portion. The side surfaces of the protrusion portions of a first pressing member that is one of the pressing members and the side surfaces of the protrusion portions of a second pressing member that is the other of the pressing members intersect with each other during pressing when viewed in a column direction of the protrusion portions.
