Binding process device and recording-medium processing system
A binding process device includes an advancing member and a binding process unit. The advancing member advances toward a corner of a recording-medium bundle having multiple edges and having the corner at an intersection position where the edges intersect. The binding process unit performs a binding process on the recording-medium bundle by causing the advancing member to advance toward the corner and is capable of performing the binding process at a first position and at a second position located closer to the intersection position than the first position.
BINDING PROCESSING DEVICE
A binding processing device includes a first pressing member including: a first convex portion; a first concave portion; and a first connection portion which is provided between the first convex portion and the first concave portion; and a second pressing member including: a second convex portion; a second concave portion; and a second connection portion which is provided between the second convex portion and the second concave portion. In a state in which the first convex portion of the first pressing member and the second concave portion of the second pressing member come in contact with each other at the first connection portion and the second connection portion, the first connection portion contacts with the second connection portion and a gap is formed between the first convex portion and the second concave portion along a pressing direction of the first and second pressing members. In a state in which a sheet bundle is sandwiched between the first pressing member and the second pressing member, an increased section having an increased thickness of each sheet of the sheet bundle is formed in the gap. The increased section is pressed by the first convex portion and the second concave portion.

SHEET PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS HAVING THE SAME
A sheet processing apparatus includes a conveying portion, a stack portion which stacks sheets, a first regulating portion which regulates a position of a sheet bundle in a crossing direction crossing to a conveying direction, a second regulating portion which regulates a position of a sheet bundle in the conveying direction, a first binding portion which moves from a first side to a second side and binds a corner portion of a sheet bundle by a staple, a second binding portion which binds a corner portion of a sheet bundle without a staple. The second binding portion includes a first face having a plurality of projections and a second face having a plurality of concave grooves matching the plurality of projections. A sheet bundle is bound by pressing the first face and the second face.
Sheet processing apparatus and image forming apparatus having the same
A sheet processing apparatus includes a stack portion on which sheets conveyed in a conveying direction are stacked, a first regulating portion regulating a position of a sheet bundle stacked on the stack portion in a crossing direction crossing the conveying direction by contacting an end of the sheet bundle in the crossing direction, a second regulating portion regulating a position of the sheet bundle in the conveying direction by contacting an end of the sheet bundle in the conveying direction, a first binding device which moves in the crossing direction and binds by a staple, a second binding device which moves and binds without a staple, and a controller which controls the first and second binding devices. The first and second binding devices bind the corner portion of the sheet bundle.

The first and second binding devices bind the corner portion of the sheet bundle.
BOOK BINDING APPARATUS
A book binding apparatus is provided with a conveyor belt 5 having a book block conveyance surface 13 extending obliquely downward toward a pair of clamp plates 3 and 4 of a clamper 2 at a book block supply position A. A guide plate 21 is attached to the clamp plate 4 on the conveyor belt side and can swing between a standing position and a tilted position. When the pair of clamp plates is placed in a closed position, the guide plate is held in the standing position. When the pair of clamp plates is placed in an open position at the book block supply position, the guide plate swings from the standing position to the tilted position and connects to the book block conveyance surface.
