Saddle-stitch and fold machine
The creaser 2 includes a project part 21 for forming the crease 120 on the sheet 101 and a receive part 22 for receiving the project part 21. The project part 21 is moved between a crease position and a standby potion, the project part 21 being at the crease position so as to form the crease 120 on the sheet 101, the project part 21 being away from the sheet 101 at the standby position so as not to form the crease 120 on the sheet 101. The input device 6 includes a selector 60 for selecting the sheet 101 to be creased by the creaser 2 from among the sheets 101 fed from the conveyer 1, the input device 6 sending the information of the selection to the controller 5.

Device for the robotic printing of individually-printed books, and associated method
A device for manufacturing a book on demand, including a cover printing or receiving station designed to respectively print or receive a cover, a body printing or receiving station designed to respectively print or receive a body, a binding station designed to join together the body and the cover, a conveyor designed and/or programmed to convey the cover and/or the body between the different stations, the device is designed to deposit glue in a gluing region on the verso of the cover inside the binding station before the cover and the body are joined together by gluing, forming a book.

Image forming apparatus and computer-readable recording medium storing program
A control portion of an image forming apparatus creates an image list for performing the perfect-binding imposition of the images of the pages on the sheets so that the scores formed on the sheets are on the external surface of the center-folded sheets, for the sheets each having a size twice the size specified as each of the sheets on which the images of the book body are to be formed, when a book-body stacking portion accommodates the sheets center-folded by a folding portion along scores formed for every sheet from a predetermined direction by a scoring portion for each of the sheets having the images formed thereon by the image forming portion, and a bookbinding portion uses a glue-on cover to perform case binding of a bundle of the sheets glued to the side of the spine.

AUTOMATED BOOK ASSEMBLY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A high-speed automated assembly system for printed products, especially suited, for example, for printing books on demand. More particularly, at least one robotic processing station, and separate book assembly processing sub-stations, replace a standard bindery equipment in order to improve system flexibility, speed and efficiency.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM

Binding machine
A punching and binding machine used to bind sheets to discs. The machine may include a lever with a first arm, a second arm, and a third arm. Each arm may be pivotally and slidably connected to minimize the force required by a user to punch cutouts in a stack of sheets. The lever may include a flipper connected to a binding member to actuate punching and binding simultaneously.
