SELF-SUPPORTING BOOK
A book has a front cover having a first edge which is unconnected, and an opposing second edge which is connected to a spine. A back cover has a first edge which is connected to the spine and an opposing second edge which is connected to flexible joint or fold-line. The book has a third cover having a first edge which is connected to the flexible joint, that couples the third cover to the back cover, and an opposing second edge which is connected to binding. The front cover is configured to fold back about the spine to retain the third cover proximal the outer edge of the third cover to retain the book in a propped-up position for reading. A page holder slides along the left and right sides of the third cover and has an opening that allows a page to be pushed therethrough.
FLEXIBLE BINDING MECHANISM
A binding mechanism including a body portion having a flange opening extending therethrough. The body portion further includes or at least partially defines a body portion opening positioned adjacent a base end of the flange. The binding mechanism has a manually deflectable flange coupled to the body portion. At least part of the flange is insertable through the flange opening from a first side of the body portion to at least partially form a loop on the first side of the body portion. The at least part of the flange is alternatively insertable through the flange opening from a second side of the body portion opposite the first side to at least partially form a loop on the second side of the body portion. The body portion opening is configured to receive the flange therethrough to enable the flange to be positioned on either the first side or the second side of the body portion.

NOTEBOOK SYSTEM CAPABLE OF REPLACING STACKS OF ONE -SIDE-BOUND INNER PAPER SHEETS
The present disclosure provides a novel notebook system in which stacks of one-side-bound inner paper sheets are replaced, wherein a plurality of pockets are formed at a plurality of positions in an inner face of an outermost cover sheet, a first or last paper sheet of the stack of one-side-bound inner paper sheets is removably inserted into the pocket selected by the user, and, therefore, the handwriting direction or position may be freely changed according to the user's selection. According to the present disclosure, the user can freely change the position of the stack of one-side-bound inner paper sheets, and thus can make notes or handwriting in a convenient way. When the stack of one-side-bound inner paper sheets are completely used, the stack may be replaced with a new stack of one-side-bound inner paper sheets, which can save money and waste material.
