Folder notebooks

A bound component has a front cover attached to a spine attached to a rear cover, a binding mechanism, and a binder extension attached to either cover. The binder extension folds inwardly in its closed position and has pockets. Also disclosed is a bound component having a front cover attached to a spine attached to a rear cover, a binding mechanism and one or more pockets attached to either cover. The pocket may have one or more closure flaps and may be expandable.

Also disclosed is a bound component having a front cover attached to a spine attached to a rear cover, a binding mechanism and one or more pockets attached to either cover. The pocket may have one or more closure flaps and may be expandable.

Customizable memorabilia cover

A customizable memorabilia cover has front and back substantially rectangular leafboard members coupled to a spine member. Elastic bands may be coupled one each at the distal and proximal ends of the elastic bands substantially to the outer corners of the rectangular leafboard members. The elastic bands are disposed acutely from the edges of the rectangular leafboard members and designed to receive the corners of a book cover of a book therethrough, the book contained within the front and back leafboard members substantially abutted by the spine member. At least one groove member of the front leafboard member has a closed base and closed side members. A substantially transparent cover member is contiguously coupled to a top portion of the side members to define an ash container assembly. An alternative embodiment includes a covering or enclosing member that holds an electronic handheld device removably coupled to the back leafboard member.

Flexible binding mechanism

A binding mechanism including a body portion having a flange opening extending therethrough. The body portion further includes or at least partially defines a body portion opening positioned adjacent a base end of the flange. The binding mechanism has a manually deflectable flange coupled to the body portion. At least part of the flange is insertable through the flange opening from a first side of the body portion to at least partially form a loop on the first side of the body portion. The at least part of the flange is alternatively insertable through the flange opening from a second side of the body portion opposite the first side to at least partially form a loop on the second side of the body portion. The body portion opening is configured to receive the flange therethrough to enable the flange to be positioned on either the first side or the second side of the body portion.

A book includes a book cover, pages operably attached to the book cover, and a sheet of lightpaper pivotably attached to an edge of the book cover. The lightpaper sheet, when lit and inserted behind a page may provide light through the page for a user to read or write on the page even in a dark room or in a room without otherwise appropriate lighting.
