A comic book case includes a base and a cover configured to compress and secure a comic book in place under frictional pressure such that the book cannot easily shift or slip within the case. Prior art cases that included walls surrounding the top, bottom and side edges of a book typically allowed some free movement or slippage of the book between the walls. This movement or slippage could result in damage such as curling or crinkling of the edges of the book if the case were exposed to a physical shock, such as by being dropped. The base includes a raised base platform and the cover includes a depressed cover platform, which extends towards the base platform to create a space within which the book is securely held.

A notebook may generally comprise a plurality of sheets of paper, a binding mechanism binding the plurality of sheets together, and a cover bound to the plurality of sheets of paper disposed therebetween, the cover comprising first and second opposed covers, the first cover including a first portion and a second portion and having a hinge line extending therebetween, wherein the second portion is pivotable about the hinge line between a closed position and an open position. A writing utensil holder for attachment to a notebook includes a plate having a notebook attachment portion and a writing utensil holding portion. The notebook attachment portion is configured to attach to a notebook such that the notebook attachment portion is inside of a perimeter of the notebook when the notebook attachment portion is attached to the notebook and the holding portion is outside of the notebook perimeter when the notebook attachment portion is attached to the notebook. The writing utensil holder also includes a securing implement secured to the holding portion and configured to hold a writing utensil between the securing instrument and the holding portion such that the writing utensil is outside of the notebook perimeter.

A writing utensil holder for attachment to a notebook includes a plate having a notebook attachment portion and a writing utensil holding portion. The present invention relates to a flexible and durable bookbinding and to methods for making bound books. More specifically, the present invention relates to books that may withstand substantial and repeated perpendicular flexure along their spine. Among other advantages, these books demonstrate improved resistance to wear and tear and normal usage to remain intact.

A bath book and a puppet combination and method of manufacturing a bath book and a puppet combination, wherein a first intermediate assembly is bonded to a second intermediate assembly to create a third intermediate assembly. A second jersey backing layer is secured to the third intermediate assembly to create a fourth intermediate assembly. The fourth intermediate assembly may be flipped inside-out through a hole opening in the second jersey backing layer. The hole may then be sealed. The second jersey backing layer may be pushed upwards into the further intermediate assembly. An adhesive film may be applied to the terry cloth ring and the non-woven material ring of the second intermediate assembly to create a puppet assembly. The puppet assembly is positioned into a center aperture in a book assembly and bonded therein.
