DEVICE WITH QUICK-ATTACH FEATURE
A system including a panel having a panel opening and a coupling device coupled to the panel. The coupling device includes a coupling device opening and a flange positioned adjacent to the coupling device opening. The coupling device opening at least partially overlaps with the panel opening, and the flange is elastically deflectable to allow a binding mechanism to pass the flange and into or out of the coupling device opening.

BOOK
A book (1) is described. The book has front and back covers (2, 3) and a plurality of pages (5) bound between the covers. The book includes capacitive touch elements (9) disposed on the inside (10, 14) of the back cover and/or the front cover. The book also includes at least one output device (7), such as a speaker, and a controller (18). The controller is configured to cause the or at least one of the output devices to output a signal in dependence upon position of a user's digit (31: FIG. 6) on a page overlying the cover.
Illuminated assembly
Generally, an illuminated assembly and methods for making and using illuminated assemblies. Specifically, an illuminated assembly including a plurality of pages, whereby each of the plurality of pages can be coupled to a light source which provides light to one or more page surfaces such that the light can be viewed by a viewer of the one or more page surfaces.
Illuminated assembly
An illuminated assembly, and methods of making and using such an illuminated assembly, whereby the illuminated assembly includes a panel and at least one sheet coupled to the panel, the sheet capable of overlaying engagement with the panel. The sheet can include a sheet front surface opposite a sheet back surface, and at least one light transmission portion disposed therein, whereby the light transmission portion can communicate between the sheet front and back surfaces. Further, the illuminated assembly can include a light source operatively coupled to the panel, whereby in an activated condition, the light source can provide light to the panel. Following, the light can be transmitted from the panel through the light transmission portion of the sheet such that the light can be viewable by a viewer of the sheet front surface.
BOOK OR BOOK COVER WITH LIGHTPAPER ASSEMBLY
A book includes a book cover, pages operably attached to the book cover, and a sheet of lightpaper pivotably attached to an edge of the book cover. The lightpaper sheet, when lit and inserted behind a page may provide light through the page for a user to read or write on the page even in a dark room or in a room without otherwise appropriate lighting.
Interactive book
A book is provided which comprises front and back covers (12,14) and a plurality of pages (16) bound between the covers. A plurality of the pages (16) each have an aperture (18) and the resulting plurality of apertures cooperate with the back cover (14) to define a recess (22) extending through the pages. The book further comprises a container (24) attached to the back cover (14) so as to be located in the recess (22). The book may have multiple recesses and associated containers.

Journal Attachment
A device that can be removably attached to an article, such as a book, tablet, journal, etc., and is useful for storing both related objects (e.g., pens, pencils, erasers, stylus, etc.) and unrelated objects (e.g., money, eye glasses, earbuds, checkbook, etc.). The device is preferably comprised of a backing, a sleeve attached to said backing, a pocket also attached to said backing and an implement holder attached to said pocket. In a further preferred embodiment, a second pocket or slot may be incorporated onto said sleeve and the device may also have at least one zippered enclosure.
