APPARATUS FOR TURNING PAGES OF A BOOK AND METHOD FOR SAME
An apparatus for turning a page of an opened book includes an arm section which has an adhesion member provided on a tip end portion; a driving section which reciprocates the adhesion member via the arm section; a detection section which detects an overcurrent applied to the driving section; and a control section which controls timing at which the adhesion member that is reciprocated by the driving section starts reverse rotation. The control section, when reversing a moving direction of the adhesion member from a direction toward a starting point of page turning to a direction toward an end point of the page turning, reverses the moving direction based on a timing of the overcurrent by the detection section.
Page pressing apparatus and document camera system
In order to prevent a page from returning from a page-turning end point to a page-turning start point and improve the reliability of page turning, in addition to a catching section having a plurality of vane sections provided on the outer circumferential surface, there are provided a pull-in roller which rotates around the rotation axis of the catching section and has a diameter smaller than that of the catching section and a pressing roller having a diameter smaller than that of the pull-in roller. When a page is conveyed by a sticking section, the catching section brings the page to a page-turning end point while rubbing the page surface with the rotating vane sections, and the pull-in roller pulls in the page caught by the vane sections of the catching section. The pressing roller presses the page pulled in by the pull-in roller at the page-turning end point.

Apparatus for turning pages of a book and method for same
An arm motor control section controls the operation of an arm motor that drives an arm section for turning a page of a book by pressing an adhesion roller against the page, and a current detection section outputs a current limit notice upon detecting an overcurrent in the arm motor which is limited by a limiter. When a current limit notice is outputted in a page turning operation, a CPU drives and controls the arm motor to perform reverse rotation by the arm motor control section, and thereby controls a pressing period that is a locking period during which the adhesion roller is pressing the page.
PAGE HOLDER AND PAGE TURNER
When a page is conveyed from a sticking section, a catching section catches and brings the page to a page-turning end point by a vane section rubbing against a surface of the page. A regulation section is provided extending from a side of a roller cover to an area below vane sections, and regulates the movement of each vane section before a vane section strikes the page already fixed at the page-turning endpoint or strikes a holding plate. By being formed of an elastic member, each vane section is pulled into the roller cover while being greatly bent by the regulation section.

Image processing apparatus, image processing system, image processing method, and recording medium
An image processing apparatus includes a first correction amount acquiring unit and a first correction unit. The first correction amount acquiring unit acquires a first luminance correction amount of each block based on the luminance of each pixel in the block obtained by dividing a first image among multiple processing target images obtained by imaging a target object with multiple sheets bound together while opening the target object. The first correction unit corrects the luminance of each pixel in the multiple processing target images based on the first luminance correction amount of each block acquired by the first correction amount acquiring unit.

Device, method, and storage medium for supporting imaging work
A user is allowed to set contents of imaging work for digitization of a book using a page turning device to turn over each page of the book in a spread state from an original position to a destination position and settings of the imaging work are stored in advance. When a user commands initiation of the imaging work, the stored settings are confirmed and an imaging operation screen to present, to the user, guidance information related to an imaging procedure corresponding to the settings is separately displayed.
