The greeting card cover has a surface that displays a message. A flap or other suitable structural device can be used or operated between a closed position and an open position to at least partially hide or reveal the message.

A redundantly printed security-enhanced document, printing method and system ensure the meaning of the information imparted by variable indicia printed by redundant printing on the document with removable scratch-off coatings. By printing the variable indicia with multiple colors, redundancy and integrity of the intended indicia is achieved. Additionally, inverted color indicia countermeasures to pinprick attacks are also disclosed. The redundantly printed document, methods and systems enhance the overall appearance of the redundantly printed document, and reduce possible consequences resulting from misprinted variable indicia. The resultant printed process color indicia maintains a grayscale equivalent level of a process color greater than or equal to the measured grayscale equivalent level of the substrate surface plus an additional contrast delta of 15%.

A security-enhanced document includes a substrate and variable indicia comprising ink having a signal. The variable indicia is of a specific type and is applied to the substrate using a specific application technique. At least one other printed portion, which is a back of the document, has background ink noise, and the type of ink of the back of the document is of the same type of ink applied to the substrate using the same application technique as the ink of the variable indicia. The document also includes a scratch-off-coating applied over the variable indicia. The document has a signal-to-noise ratio of the ink of the variable indicia relative to the background ink noise of the back of the document that is not appreciable, thereby making the variable indicia unreadable with reference to the back of the document when the scratch-off-coating remains intact.

Apparatuses and methods of operating the same are described. A method may include receiving a card from a first storage compartment. The method may include analyzing the card using a first sensor to obtain characteristic information of the card. The method may include identifying a group associated with the characteristic information. The method may include identifying a second storage compartment associated with the group. The method may include sorting the card to place the card into the second storage compartment.

A greeting card, and envelope designed and or formatted to reconfigure to accept and conceal a receptacle by dimension, which stores at least one recording or recorded storage device, medium. or media such as but not limited to DVD's, CD's, Compact disc, USB drive's, gift card's, paper currency, etc. The storage devices or mediums allows the giver to download, record, combine and store image's graphic, photo's video's, music, art poetry, literature, records, etc., from an authorized website's and can be combined with personal all reserves in a greeting card and create a personal customized album. The images, audio and information can be downloaded on the receiver's PC and selected images, audio and the information can be duplicated and printed such as photos can be framed, used as wallpaper etc., and the original storage devices or medium can be stored with the greeting card and receptacle can be stored as albums.

A greeting card that can display images three-dimensionally can be stored in an envelope and be easily sent by mail, wherein the receiving person receives the greeting card and may enjoy three-dimensional image card easily.

A press-bonded sheet in which two sheet portions are press-bonded in a peelable state is manufactured by a method including steps of: forming an adhesive layer containing powder adhesive on a sheet; heating the adhesive layer to fix it to the sheet; opposing an area on the sheet where the adhesive layer is fixed and an area on the same sheet or on a different sheet where another adhesive layer is formed and fixed; and press-bonding the opposed areas. The fracture strain of a main constituent material of the powder adhesive is 10% or more and less than 1000%.

The invention relates to a 3D pop-up card comprising a plush FIG. (3) reversibly convertible from a flat compressed state to a three-dimensional expanded state, and a foldable base (5) reversibly convertible from a flat compressed state to a three-dimensional expanded state, and a foldable card (2) having an inner side and an outer side, which is reversibly transferable from a folded closed state to an unfolded opened state, wherein the foldable base (5) is fixed to the inner side of the foldable card (2) and wherein the plush FIG. (3) is fixed to the foldable base (5), and wherein the card (2) comprises an additional support element (6) which is arranged inside the base (5) and supports the base (5) from the inside in the unfolded state of the card (2).

A greeting card and associated techniques for storing audio tracks corresponding to definable touch zones of the greeting card is provided. In one aspect, the greeting card includes a body for securing a photograph thereon. A sensor array can be disposed within the body of the greeting card to detect touch gestures through the secured photograph, among other things. The greeting card can include a microprocessor that enables touch zones to be defined via the sensor array, such that a touch zone can correspond to various objects depicted on the card or a photograph secured thereon. Among other things, the greeting card can include a microphone for recording an audio track corresponding to each generated touch zone, a speaker for playing back an audio track corresponding to a selected touch zone, and a memory for storing touch zones and/or associated audio tracks.

Various themed gift card and gift card holder combinations are disclosed. Some embodiments are contained inside a box along with novelty gift items that are themed or otherwise related to the type of gift card contained therein. Other embodiments contain various three-dimensional pop-up structures and other paper engineered constructs that are shaped, decorated and otherwise themed to match an accompanying gift card. And in yet other embodiments, the gift card holders are directed to specific holidays or special occasions with appropriate gift cards included.
