A spirit bottle greeting card is configured to contain a small bottle of spirits as a gift for a recipient. The spirits are typically in 50 ml spirit bottle, a quantity of sufficient size for the sender to “toast” the occasion for the recipient. The spirit bottle greeting card includes a cover that is attached to a container with a hinge. A spirit bottle retainer is received in the container and suspends the spirit bottle within an interior cavity. The spirit bottle retainer has a recess to releasably and captively receive the spirit bottle. The recess has a neck portion to conform to a neck of the spirit bottle, a shoulder portion to conform to a shoulder of the spirit bottle, and a body portion to conform to a body of the spirit bottle. A plurality of retaining tabs hold the spirit bottle in a snap fit configuration.

A system for a greeting card. The greeting card has a planar greeting card portion and a greeting card cover moveably coupled to the planar greeting card portion. The greeting card cover can move from an open position whereby the planar greeting card portion is readable to a closed position adjacent to said planar greeting card portion whereby the planar greeting card portion is not readable. The greeting card portion is coupled to a gift storage compartment which has a volume and a depth for storing an item. The greeting card cover can open and close without moving the gift storage compartment.

A redundantly printed security-enhanced document, printing method and system ensure the meaning of the information imparted by variable indicia printed by redundant printing on the document with removable scratch-off coatings. By printing the variable indicia with multiple colors, redundancy and integrity of the intended indicia is achieved. Additionally, inverted color indicia countermeasures to pinprick attacks are also disclosed. The redundantly printed document, methods and systems enhance the overall appearance of the redundantly printed document, and reduce possible consequences resulting from misprinted variable indicia. The resultant printed process color indicia maintains a grayscale equivalent level of a process color greater than or equal to the measured grayscale equivalent level of the substrate surface plus an additional contrast delta of 15%.

The technology described herein generates a unique identifier for a visual media that comprises pre-printed visual indications on the visual media and a user's handwritten signature. The location of the signature on the visual media can be determined by including preprinted fiducial marks on the visual media. The fiducial markers act as landmarks that allow the size and location of the signature to be determined in absolute terms. The unique identifier is then stored in computer memory on a user-experience server. The user-experience server can associate the unique identifier with a digital asset, such as an image or video, designated by the user. When the unique identifier is provided to the user-experience server a second time, the digital asset can be retrieved and output to the computing device that provided the unique identifier.

The practical joke feature can include a sound that is repeatedly played for several hours, days, weeks, etc. The card can include a mode of operation configured to allow a purchaser to experience the sound without arming the practical joke feature. The card can include a pouch that contains one or more surprises for card recipients that attempt to open or destroy the card. The card can include one or more features that resist destruction of the card and/or internal components of the card that implement the practical joke feature.

The technology disclosed herein relates to a card having a liquid absorptive sponge cloth forming a first panel and a second panel. A fold line is defined between the first panel and the second panel. A printed communication is on a first surface of the first panel. The sponge cloth is semi-rigid when substantially dry and is non-rigid upon saturation with liquid water. The sponge cloth has a maximum tensile strength of at least 2.66 lbs./in when wet.

Implementations of card systems may include a card which may include a front flap hingedly coupled to a rear flap and either a printed coupon or a printed code for an electronic coupon on either the front flap or the rear flap. Implementations of card systems may also include a comestible coupled between the front flap and the rear flap. The comestible may be between 1-10 times the thickness of the card. The comestible may correspond with one of the printed coupon and the printed code for the electronic coupon.

A multimedia business card having a housing, a display, a speaker, a battery, and circuitry for operating the same is provided. In one embodiment, the housing includes a plurality of panels, scores, and joints, including a cover panel and a front panel that includes an aperture. The panels and joints can be folded and secured to form an enclosed (rectangular) housing. The display, speaker, battery, and circuity are secured inside, with the display being visible to a user via the aperture. The housing should open like a book (with a cover opening from right to left), exposing the display to the user, where the opening of the cover triggers the playing of video and/or sound (e.g., via a magnetic switch). For ease of manufacturing, the housing may be constructed from a single piece of material; preferably cardboard or a heavy paper-based product.
