Background image security feature
A security document and a method for producing a security document are described. The security document includes a plurality of spaced spots integrally formed in the security document. The plurality of spaced spots and printed data overlap. The spaced spots are arranged to form an image. The method includes controlling a laser of a laser marking printer to integrally form the plurality of spaced spots in the security document. The plurality of spaced spots and printed data overlap on the security document.
Device and method of storing a seed phrase
A physical device for safely and securely storing a seed phrase of a crypto wallet or like cryptographic services. The device having cover plates that can sandwich several grid plates, wherein the cover plates and the grid plates are swively bind together using a fastener. Each grid plate is having a grid of columns and rows. Each column is having several sub-columns. Each sub-column having ten rows for the numeral sequence 0-9. Each word of the seed phrase in its corresponding numerical code can be encoded on the grid.

Tool simulation system, simulation workpiece, and method of operation
A simulator system for use in simulating fabrication or construction comprises a simulation tool with a magnet mounted on a working end, a simulation workpiece comprising a substrate with an alignment location and at least one tool path indicator; and a sensor device with a corresponding alignment location and at least one magnetic sensor. When the sensor device is aligned with the simulation workpiece, the sensor device detects the moving magnetic field of the simulation tool and determines a path travelled by the tool with respect to the sensor device. The system can then determine if the path is consistent with simulation performance data, and can provide feedback accordingly. In this system, the simulation workpiece can be formed of inexpensive printed paper that is bent, curved, or folded into shape.

REVERSIBLE RECORDING MEDIUM AND EXTERIOR MEMBER
A reversible recording medium of an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a support base and a recording layer. The recording layer is provided on the support base and reversibly changes between a recorded state and a deleted state. A chroma difference C* between the support base and the recording layer satisfies the relational expression (1) where an absorption spectrum in a visible region of the recording layer in the deleted state and an absorption spectrum in a visible region of the support base are each denoted by L*a*b*.
Systems and methods for transferring a gift using an information storage and communication system
Systems and methods for using an information wallet system to deliver a gift and receive, redeem, or re-gift the gift are disclosed. The information wallet system's storage is securely maintained by a financial institution computing system (i.e. a bank) and receives and holds purchase transaction information. Purchase information transaction may be received from a user computing device or an entity computing system, such as a merchant computing system. In one embodiment, a user may purchase a gift through an online website or at a brick and mortar location and direct the gift to be deposited into the information wallet storage of a recipient. A recipient may then continue to hold the gift, redeem the gift, or re-gift the gift to another party.
Voter and voting official authenticatable ballot and method
The invention provides an authenticatable ballot and method wherein a printable substrate is provided with at least one of overt authenticating indicia and covert authenticating indicia. The overt and covert authenticating indicia provide a means for voters and ballot counting entities to authenticate ballots by verifying the presence of sanctioned overt and covert authenticating indicia. The overt authenticating indicia is observable by the human eye without the use of any specialized tool or light source. The covert authenticating indicia are not readily apparent to the human eye and require the indicia to be resolved using a specialized tool, such as an ultraviolet or infrared light source.

CARD-SHAPED DATA CARRIER WITH NATURAL MATERIALS, METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE PRODUCTION THEREOF
The present invention is directed at a method for manufacturing a card-shaped data carrier, in which a material from nature, for example wood, is installed in a particularly advantageous manner. The invention is further directed at a correspondingly adapted apparatus for manufacturing the card-shaped data carrier as well as at the data carrier itself. Further, a computer program product is proposed, having control commands that implement the method and/or operate the proposed apparatus.
