Magnetic clip
A clip for selectively gripping objects includes a first body member having a forward portion, a rearward portion and a middle portion disposed between the forward and rearward portions. The first body member includes an exteriorly facing surface and an interiorly facing surface, with the forward portion including an interiorly facing gripping jaw, and the middle portion including a strengthening member. A second body member includes a forward portion, a rearward portion, and a middle portion disposed between the forward and rearward portion. Second body member also includes an exteriorly facing surface and an interiorly facing surface, a forward portion that includes an interiorly facing gripping jaw, and a middle portion that includes a strengthening member. A biasing member urges the gripping jaws of the first and second body members into engagement. A pivot assembly pivotably couples the first body member to the second body member to permit the gripping jaws to pivot between an engaged position and a released position. The first strengthening member has an arcuately convex surface and the second strengthening member includes an arcuately concave surface that is sized and positioned to slideably engage the arcuately convex surface of the first body.
Articulated Sheet Binder Apparatus
A binder system is disclosed that flexibly secures one or more flat objects including by mechanical grasping of flat-shaped or sheet materials in a central spring clamp having a compact cross-sectional geometry that can adapt to several sizes of clamped materials and uses. The spring clamp comprises an elongated tri-folded spine with a flat central portion and flat side portions, and flat cover supports that are attached by hinged means to the side portions of the spine. The flat central portion aids a user in opening and keeping the system in its open configuration. In some aspects the system includes customizable covers attachable to said cover supports.
Arrangements and assembly methods for a media binder and its components
A media binder has an inner assembly and a case assembly, The inner assembly includes inside boards pre-attached to a binding mechanism. Adhesive is placed on outward surfaces of the inside boards. The case assembly includes a cover sheet with at least one marginal edge attached to surface boards and at least one loose edge. To customize cover, a printed cover is inserted in-between the cover sheet and the surface board through an opening formed by the loose edge. The case assembly is then laminated. The laminated case assembly is combined with the inner assembly using the adhesive on the inside boards. A one-piece media binder has cover sheets wrapping around surface boards forming pockets. The surface boards are partially attached to paste downs. To customize cover, printed covers are inserted into the pockets, and the paste downs are then attached to the surface boards to seal loose edges.
QUICK ATTACH ACCESSORY MOUNT
An accessory mount having a clamp has an upper arm pivotably connected to a lower arm. The upper arm has a framework of a plurality of legs and cross members joined together and configured to flex with respect to each other when placed under a load. A tab extends at an angle from one end of the framework. A hinge plate is positioned between the framework and the tab. The lower arm has an elongate web and a tab extending at an angle from one end of the elongate web. A hinge plate may be positioned between the elongate web and the tab and may be attached to the first hinge plate at a pivot connection. A bias member is attached to and positioned between the upper arm and the lower arm to bias the upper arm and the lower arm together about the pivot connection between the hinge plates. Each of the upper and lower arms is formed as unitary, monocoque construction.
Multi-Use Binder Clip
A binder clip is said to deliver method of carrying a stack of papers can be placed inside a three-ring binder folder can be further implemented outside its application zone, with the redesign of the previous annexed wings and clip body of U.S. Pat. No. 9,199,506 introduces the Multi-Use Binder Clip with moveable protrusion feature that suspends along the folded edges of the clip body with incision cuts at the contour center plane and clip body sides; which protrusion is formed by shaping a nominal diameter wire derives two half loops and one full loop wire components, lengths at each sides shape, angled, and bend counter to each other, hinges to the clip body and prior art grip handles, where the redesigned provides many more office and related functions. This resulted with the Multi-Use Binder Clip with more creative applications, ideal for workshop and related environments, applications like holding business cards, postcards, photos, etc. along with the previous applications already for office environment, developed for storing, organizing, transporting documents, etc.
Binder clip
A binder clip includes a generally triangular clamp, a catch arm, and a hook arm. The catch arm includes a linear segment having a catch width, and the hook arm includes a hook configured for secure but releasable connection around the linear segment of a matching binder clip. The hook has a hook width less than the catch width of the linear segment.
Clipboard clip
A novel clipboard clip comprises a bottom plate, torsion springs and a hook frame pivoted with the bottom plate through the torsion springs, wherein a clamping regulator is disposed between two end portions of the hook frame and includes a rotary shaft provided with a push block, a handle and an elastic member; the rotary shaft is fixedly connected with the hook frame which drives the rotary shaft to rotate; the handle is movably mounted on the bottom plate; the rotary shaft and the handle are adjacent to each other; both ends of the elastic member support the handle and the bottom plate respectively; in the process of opening the hook frame, the rotary shaft rotates and the push block pushes the handle until the push block is clamped below the handle.
Smart clip
A method and apparatus for receiving an expiry time in a smart clip and one of timing and counting down to the expiry time comprises coupling an electronic receiver to the smart clip and connecting a timer to the electronic receiver are disclosed.
