An autonomous floor cleaner or floor cleaning robot can include an autonomously moveable housing and a drive system for autonomously moving the autonomously moveable housing over a surface to be cleaned based on inputs from a controller. A brush chamber and a debris receptacle can be formed as a unitary assembly removable from the autonomously moveable housing.

SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS

A surface cleaning apparatus includes a recovery tank, a suction nozzle in fluid communication with the recovery tank, and a suction source in fluid communication with the suction nozzle and the recovery tank to generate a working air path to transport debris-containing fluid including air and liquid from the suction nozzle into the recovery tank. An air/liquid separator can be provided within the recovery tank for separating liquid from air in the debris-containing fluid.

An extraction cleaner for a floor surface includes an extraction nozzle. The extraction nozzle that defines a fluid flow path having an elongated nozzle opening, and includes one or more stiffening elements that stiffens the walls around the nozzle opening to prevent collapsing or deformation of the extraction nozzle during use.

SURFACE CLEANING APPARATUS WITH TASK LIGHTING
20230200612 · 2023-06-29 ·

The present disclosure provides a surface cleaning apparatus that includes task lighting. The task lighting can be provided on a hand-carried body or housing of the surface cleaning apparatus. Power to the task lighting can be controlled by a switch. The task lighting can be adjustable relative to the hand-carried body, and can be directed to illuminate a desired location.

WATER DIVIDER STRUCTURE, WATER TANK STRUCTURE AND CLEANING EQUIPMENT THEREOF
20230200615 · 2023-06-29 ·

Cleaning equipment includesa water divider structure comprisinga pressuresource connected to a water supply tank, a water divider provided with a first distribution channel and a second distribution channel, wherein the first and second distribution channels both are connected with the pressuresource, anda first unidirectional valve connecting between the pressuresource and the water divider, wherein the first unidirectional valve connects through the pressuresource and the water divider under pressure formed when the pressuresource is activated. When there is residual water in the pipeline between the first unidirectional valve and the water divider structure, the first unidirectionalvalve can prevent the water in the water supply tank from being transported downstream. At this time, there is water in the pipeline downstream of the first unidirectionalvalve. One end is closed, and one end of the water divider structure is connected to the outside.

Separable hose system for steam and vacuum cleaning
09839336 · 2017-12-12 · ·

The present invention relates to vacuum cleaners with steam functionality (steam and vacuum cleaners), preferably to canister steam and vacuum cleaners, comprising a suction hose and a steam hose for respectively suctioning dirt and conveying steam, wherein the steam hose is external to the suction hose and comprises, at each end, a detachable connector, preferably a rapid-fitting detachable connector, for optionally detaching the steam hose when using only the vacuum cleaning functionality.

Autonomous coverage robot

A surface treatment robot includes a chassis having forward and rear ends and a drive system carried by the chassis. The drive system includes right and left driven wheels and is configured to maneuver the robot over a cleaning surface. The robot includes a vacuum assembly, a collection volume, a supply volume, an applicator, and a wetting element, each carried by the chassis. The wetting element engages the cleaning surface to distribute a cleaning liquid applied to the surface by the applicator. The wetting element distributes the cleaning liquid along at least a portion of the cleaning surface when the robot is driven in a forward direction. The wetting element is arranged substantially forward of a transverse axis defined by the right and left driven wheels, and the wetting element slidably supports at least about ten percent of the mass of the robot above the cleaning surface.
