AWNING CLEANING TOOL
20210000318 · 2021-01-07 ·

An awning cleaning tool for cleaning awnings and other structures employing awning-like material. In one implementation, the awning cleaning tool includes a cleaning head unit having a squeegee-like leak guard, one or more powered brushes, a row of water-detergent applicator nozzles, and an elongated extraction port. The awning cleaning tool also includes an elongated extension and a control handle. During cleaning, a water-detergent mixture is sprayed via the nozzles onto the top surface of the awning and the powered brushes work the water-detergent mixture into the material of the awning to dislodge the dirt and debris. The used water-detergent mixture, dirt and debris are extracted via the extraction port. Any excess water-detergent mixture is captured by the leak guard so that it does not run down and off the awning.

IMPLEMENT FOR CLEANING LIVESTOCK FEED BUNKS
20200406303 · 2020-12-31 ·

An implement for cleaning debris from feed bunks has a frame adapted to be coupled to a vehicle, a transverse shaft rotatably supported by bearing assemblies on the frame and extending laterally beyond one side of the vehicle, a drive motor for rotatably driving the shaft, and a plurality of strips of flexible material connected to an outer end portion of the shaft. The strips of flexible material can be baler belt sections arranged with a tread pattern on a leading surface to help pick up debris and liquid from feed bunks during operation. The strips of flexible material are attached to mounting surfaces on diametrically opposed sides of the shaft and arranged so that free ends of the strips strike and fling debris from the feed bunk during rotation. The drive motor has an adjustable rotation speed to accommodate differing amounts and conditions of debris in the feed bunk.

Autonomous active waterline scrubbing device principally for swimming pools and spas

Buoyant, autonomous devices for actively scrubbing upstanding walls of swimming pools and spas at and nearby their waterlines are detailed. The devices may be configured to float on and travel along a surface of water of a pool and include at least one brush or scrubber adapted to contact pool walls. An electric motor may cause the scrubber to rotate about a shaft or axle, with frictional contact between the scrubber and the wall dislodging dirt and debris therefrom. In particular, if a scrubber is conically shaped and angled relative to the vertical direction, its rotating blades may lift water from the pool to hydrate dried debris stuck to the wall, thereby facilitating dislodging of the debris.
