Tube insertion tool
Tube insertion devices are configured to allow a user to manually insert a hollow tube into a receiving bore, e.g., a pen tube into the bore of a blank. In some implementations, the devices include (a) a pair of elongated arms, each arm comprising a gripping portion and an insertion portions, each of the insertion portions terminating in a distal tip, and (b) a connecting portion joining the arms such that the arms pivot about the connecting portion in a plane defined by the arms when the gripping portions are pressed together by a user. Each of the insertion portions preferably includes a relatively wider proximal portion and a relatively narrower distal tube-carrying portion, the change in width between the proximal portion and the distal portion defining a stop surface.
ARTICULATED PEN
Articulated pens are provided. A pen includes: a shank; an ink tube comprising a first section, a second section, a third section, and a fourth section; a writing tip connected to the fourth section; a first guide rail connected to the shank and that bends the ink tube at a first angle between the first section and the second section; and a second guide rail pivotally connected to the first guide rail and that bends the ink tube at a second angle between the third section and the fourth section. Pivoting the second guide rail relative to the first guide rail adjusts a third angle between the second section and the third section.
WEIGHTED WRITING INSTRUMENT SYSTEM
The disclosed technology includes methods and systems for facilitating handwriting for individuals who require assistance with their fine motor skills and pinch strength due to various conditions or injury. The methods and systems include writing instruments that may be used in order of succession based on improved or worsened fine motor skills. In one implementation, the method includes measuring a first writing capability of a user, selecting a first writing instrument with a barrel of a predetermined circumference and a predetermined weight selected based on the first writing capability of the user, using the selected first writing instrument for a first phase, measuring a second writing capability, detecting a first change between the first writing capability and the second writing capability, determining that the first phase is completed based on the detected first change, and selecting a second writing instrument responsive to determining the first phase is completed.
PEN PART
A pen part comprising a hollow tube having an external surface and an internal wall of which delimits a cavity. The hollow tube comprises a stone sleeve an external surface of which at least partly forms the external surface of the hollow tube, and a lining element an external surface of which is applied to an internal surface of the sleeve.
Procedure for obtaining seaweed sheets by heat treatment with addition of salt and bentonite for making covers of pens or pencils with encapsulated seeds at the end of their structure
This invention relates to the process for obtaining sheets made from seaweed that, when wrapped around a coal mine, wax mine or ink loads, give rise to the cylindrical and elongated cover of pencil or pen made based on algae, salt, bentonite and water, with a final layer of cotton thread optionally, tinctured with natural plant elements and having seeds at its rear end. The process for the production of films made from algae by heat treatment with the addition of salt and bentonite for making covers of pencil or pen comprises the following steps: i) boiling seaweed containing collagen for gelatinization together with salt and bentonite; ii) poring the gelatinized algae into the bowl and dip a graphite for writing; iii) subjecting to temperature for drying the algae and obtaining sheets; iv) cutting the sheets, according to the size of graphite for writing, leaving a space at the rear end to place the seeds; and iv) wrapping the graphite for writing with pieces of wet sheets to obtain a particular shape.
COEXTRUSION PROCESSES AND PRODUCTS PRODUCED THEREROM
A method of coextruding polymeric materials into multiple layers of desired thickness to form a tubular workpiece. The method includes conveying a first polymeric material through a main extruder and a second polymeric material through a coextruder. The second polymeric material has dispersed therein an amount of electrically conductive particles effective to impart electrical conductivity to the tubular workpiece. The method further includes simultaneously extruding the first polymeric material and the second polymeric material through a coextrusion die to form the tubular workpiece. The tubular workpiece is extruded in the form of one or more outer layers having the first polymeric material and one or more inner layers comprising the second polymeric material. A tubular workpiece prepared by the method of coextruding polymeric materials into multiple layers of desired thickness. A system for coextruding polymeric materials into multiple layers of desired thickness to form a tubular workpiece is also provided.
Method for producing a partly transparent body with a color gradient, and a partly transparent body with a color gradient
A method for producing a partly transparent body with a color gradient, include: providing a transparent first casing having a first joint surface on a protrusion and including an encased object; providing a second casing which is not completely transparent and which has a second joint surface in a recess. The shape of the protrusion and the shape of the recess correspond to each other; and combining the first casing and the second casing by inserting the protrusion into the recess and melting the first joint surface of the first casing with the second joint surface of the second casing. A pressure force and a temperature are applied to the first joint surface and the second joint surface such that the first joint surface of the first casing transitions into the second joint surface of the second casing in a visually seamless manner, followed by a removal of material.
AUTOGRAPH HOCKEY PUCK WITH REMOVABLE WRITING UTENSIL
A sports implement for obtaining autographs, having a core, a hole in the core having an open end and a closed bottom end, a housing disposed within the hole further comprising a latch, a spring, and a stop rim. The implement further includes a cap rotatably and slidably disposed within the housing comprising a first position wherein the cap compresses the spring toward the closed bottom end and a second position wherein the spring urges the cap against the stop rim, and a writing utensil removably coupled with the cap and rotationally coupled with the housing, further comprising a striker selectively interfacing with the latch.
Biodegradable marker pen
A biodegradable marker pen including a barrel, a cap, and an ink reservoir. The barrel has a hollow cylindrical structure, the ink reservoir is placed in the barrel, and the cap is detachably coupled with the barrel hermetically. The barrel, the cap, and the ink reservoir comprise 2 to 10 mass percentage of a biodegradable masterbatch respectively.
