APPLICATOR
An applicator includes an approximately cylindrical-shaped body, a core-like application member, a storage for a liquid applying material, a liquid applying material absorbing body that adjusts an amount of impregnation, and a plug that causes a rear end side of the application member to be inserted through an insertion hole to hold the application member. The plug exposes the rear end side to a side of the storage. The insertion hole has a shape in which a clearance width with the application member is adjustable according to viscosity and a material of the liquid applying material to make an amount of the liquid applying material adjustable. A storage region is configured to be increased and decreased by changing a position of a stop plug. The absorbing body is mounted to a distal end and has changeable length and size configured to increase and decrease the amount of impregnation through cutting.
DIRECT LIQUID TYPE OF WRITING TOOL
The present invention is a direct liquid type of writing tool including a pen tip; a columnar ink absorbent body connected to a rear end of the pen tip; an ink tank arranged on the ink absorbent body; and a plurality of communicating tubes for connecting the absorbent body and the ink tank. A front end of each of the communicating tubes is located in the ink absorbent body, and has a sloped surface facing an outer periphery side of the absorbent body. Each of the communicating tubes has an opening in the sloped surface at the front end and each has a tip end region adjacent to the opening and extending more frontward than the opening, and the tip end region forms a pressing part configured to press inside of the absorbent body when each of the tubes is inserted frontward from a rear end of the absorbent body.

Writing instrument and ink cartridge
A writing instrument includes: a replacement ink cartridge including a bottomed cylindrical container that has an opened front end and a closed rear end and a plug fitted into an inner circumferential surface of an opening of the container; and a projection inserted into the opening of the container to press the plug rearward, thereby opening the plug of the ink cartridge, wherein the projection and the plug are fitted when the plug is press opened, and when the cartridge is replaced, the fitting between the projection and the plug is released and the plug is locked again in the opening of the container.
Applicator
A cosmetic liquid applicator that allows easy determination as to the completion state of replacement of an application liquid tank includes a front barrel to which an application liquid tank for storing a liquid cosmetic to be fed to an applying part is attached and a rear barrel attached to the front barrel to cover the application liquid tank. The front barrel has on its peripheral surface a male threaded portion and a first engagement portion formed in the circumferential direction and located in the rear of the male threaded portion while the rear barrel has on its inner circumferential surface a female threaded portion to mate with the male threaded portion and a second engagement portion to be engaged with the first engagement portion.

Fountain pen
A fountain pen comprising: an elongate hollow body defining an inner chamber designed to receive an ink container; a nib disposed at a first end of the hollow body; and a connection part connecting the inner chamber to the nib and defining an ink flow passage extending along a longitudinal axis (XX), the connection part comprising a valve opening and closing the ink flow passage, designed to selectively open and close the ink flow passage. The connection part comprises a striker interposed between the valve and the inner chamber and designed to engage with the ink container and allow a flow of ink between the ink reservoir and the nib.
Cosmetic applicator
A cosmetic applicator includes a dispensing member including a space, perforations on one surface, an opening on the other opposite surface, and an externally extending rim formed around the opening; a sponge in the space; a central shaft seat including an annular base in the opening, an annular lip formed on the base and supported by the rim, and a hollow cylinder having an axial channel; first and second half housings each including a curved trough adjacent to a bottom; a check valve in the channel; and a cap including a hollow stem partially disposed in the channel. The lip is fastened in the troughs of the first and second half housings. The first and second half housings are complementarily secured together. The central shaft seat is fastened in the first and second half housings.
Modular fountain pens useable with inks of varying viscosities
Modular fountain pens useable with inks of varying viscosities that utilize a nib with exterior grooves for conveying ink, which removably fits into a coupler that places the nib in fluid communication with a reservoir by way of a central ink tube. The coupler removably secures into a housing, which is closed on its opposite end by a rotating end cap designed to engage the ink reservoir so as to allow the pen user to adjust the internal volume of the reservoir. The pen allows for quick assembly and disassembly, which allows the pen to be easily cleaned between uses to accommodate fluid inks that may leave heavy residues and also allows for the appearance of the pen to be changed according to user tastes. The use of a quick-removing nib allows for a double-tipped nib to be used, with different writing tips, and easy swapping by the pen user between writing tips.
