Rotating filter for a dishwashing machine
A dishwasher with a tub at least partially defining a washing chamber, a liquid spraying system, a liquid recirculation system defining a recirculation flow path, and a liquid filtering system. The liquid filtering system includes a rotating filter disposed in the recirculation flow path to filter the liquid.
AUTOMATIC DISHWASHING COMPOSITION
An automatic dishwashing cleaning composition having an alkyl amphocarboxylate surfactant.
DETERGENT COMPOSITION COMPRISING A CATIONIC DERIVATIVE OF A POLYSACCHARIDE
The invention relates to a detergent composition comprising at least one cationic derivate of a polysaccharide. The cationic derivate has an average molecular weight of less than 30000 g/mol, a degree of substitution ranging between 0.01 and 3.
The invention further relates to a method of reducing, limiting or preventing the occurrence of spotting and/or filming on hard surface substrates during rinsing or washing and to the use of a detergent composition to reduce, limit or prevent the occurrence of spotting and/or filming on hard surface substrates during rinsing and/or washing.
Method for operating a dishwasher
In a method for operating a dishwasher, a desorption process of a reversibly dehydratable dry material of a sorption-drying system is initiated at least at times. A parameter that influences the desorption process is hereby evaluated for determining an instant for performing the desorption process.
Dishwasher and method
A personal dishwasher washes and dries a dish that is manually or mechanically moved through a dishwasher chamber or is manually placed in and manually removed from the chamber. Pressurized water, possibly containing soap, wetting agent, etc., may be added to the wash water. Steam may be used to for cleaning and/or disinfecting. Ultraviolet light may be used for disinfecting. The dishwasher chamber may be enlarged to pass larger dishes, bowls, glassware, etc. for washing. A method of washing dishes, comprising inserting a dish manually into a dishwasher, passing the dish through the dishwasher, and withdrawing the dish. A method of washing a dish, comprising inserting a single dish into a dishwasher, directing fluid under pressure at the dish, directing air flow at the dish, and withdrawing the dish.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher including a washing tub having a bottom plate having an opening, a nozzle having a spraying hole configured to spray water, the nozzle passing through the opening, and a sealing member configured to seal the opening. The bottom plate includes a base portion on which the nozzle is installed, and a protruding portion extending downward from the base portion to form the opening, the nozzle includes a support portion on the base portion, and a nozzle side portion facing the protruding portion. A part of the support portion contacts the base portion and another part of the support portion is spaced apart from the base portion according to an inclination of the base portion, where the sealing member is disposed between the protruding portion and the nozzle side portion. The spraying trajectory of the water can thus be kept constant despite the inclination deviation of the base portion.
Dosage element and a method of manufacturing a dosage element
This invention concerns dosage elements for a ware washing machine and a method of manufacturing such dosage elements. In embodiments of the invention a dosage element comprises first (10) and second (20) joined parts, wherein the first part (10) is a part which, prior to joining with the second part (20), comprised an open receptacle and wherein the second part (20) comprises a substrate carrying a plurality of mutually separated substances A, B, C arranged in side by side relation. The second part (20) is joined to said first part (10) so as to close said receptacle and enclose said substances within it. Dosage elements produced in the inventive method are pleasant to handle, while being surprisingly resistant to damage in handling or transit.
MULTI-CHANNEL VALVE FOR A DISHWASHING APPLIANCE
A multi-channel valve for a dishwashing appliance may define an axial direction, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction. The multi-channel valve may include a cylindrical housing that may include a plurality of inlet nozzles and a plurality of outlet nozzles. The multi-channel valve also may include an inner cylinder positioned within the cylindrical housing. The inner cylinder may define a central axis approximately parallel to the axial direction. The inner cylinder may include a plurality of flow channels each extended through the inner cylinder approximately perpendicular to the central axis. The plurality of flow channels may be spaced apart approximately along the axial direction. Each flow channel may be oriented at a predetermined angle relative to an adjacent flow channel.
Methods for operating dishwasher appliances having energy recovery features
Dishwasher appliances and method for operating dishwasher appliances are provided. A method includes executing a wet cycle, wherein a heating unit and a fan of a desiccant assembly are active during the wet cycle. The desiccant assembly includes the heating unit, the fan, and a desiccant module and is in fluid communication with a wash chamber of the dishwasher appliance. The method further includes executing a delay period, the delay period occurring for a predetermined time period between the wet cycle and a dry cycle, wherein the heating unit and the fan are active during the delay period. The method further includes draining liquid from the wash chamber after the delay period, and executing a dry cycle, wherein the fan is active and the heating unit is inactive during the dry cycle.
