Combination spinner top having multiple writing instruments
A combination spinning top including a multiplicity of petals removably retained at spaced apart locations on a circumferential end wall of a central round body to give the combination spinning top the appearance of a flower and to provide balance to enable the combination spinning top to spin on a tip for a longer period of time than it would spin without the petals. Each of the multiplicity of petals retain a writing instrument, the writing instrument also serving as an attaching arm to attach a respective petal to the central body of the spinner top.
Multimodality multi-axis 3-D imaging with X-ray
Methods and devices are disclosed for the imaging of a biological sample from all rotational perspectives in three-dimensional space and with multiple imaging modalities. A biological sample is positioned on an imaging stage that is capable of full 360-degree rotation in at least one of two orthogonal axes. Positioned about the stage are imaging modules enabling the recording of a series of images in multiple modalities, including reflected visible light, fluorescence, X-ray, ultrasound, and optical coherence tomography. A computer can use the images to construct three-dimensional models of the sample and to render images of the sample conveying information from one or more imaging channels. The rendered images can be displayed for an operator who can manipulate the images to present additional information or viewing angles of the sample. The image manipulation can be with touch gestures entered using a sterilizable or disposable touch pen.

Dry erase ink with improved drying time
A dry erase ink for a writing instrument. The dry erase ink includes, as the main organic solvent, a solvent selected from the group consisting of n-propyl acetate, isopropyl acetate, or mixtures thereof.
Internal pressure regulating marker pen
A writing implement is configured to dispense material onto a work surface. The writing implement includes a body having a first end, a second end, and an inner surface. The writing implement also includes a nib coupled to the first end. The nib is configured to allow the material to be dispensed onto the work piece. The writing implement further includes a pressure regulating assembly coupled to the body. The pressure regulating assembly and the inner surface define a cavity configured to hold the material. The pressure regulating assembly is moveable relative to the body in response to a pressure change within the cavity.

Dry erase marker board system with solid wetting marker board
A marker board system having a dark colored, low hardness, low surface energy solid silicone sheet to wet to a vertically oriented high surface energy substrate on a smooth, flat back-side of the solid silicone sheet. A front-side of the solid silicone sheet is able to be written upon by brightly colored marker ink. The brightly colored marker ink is able to be easily erased from the front-side of the solid silicone sheet after being written upon the front-side of the solid silicone sheet. The front-side is roughened to diminish beading of the brightly colored marker ink when written on the front-side.
INTEGRATED HIGHLIGHTING AND SHADING MARKER SYSTEM
Provided is an integrated highlighting marker system. The marking system includes a multi-component marker ink comprising a base colorant and a tinting colorant. The marking system also includes a highlighting component configured to transform the base colorant from a first colored state to a second colored state based on the tinting colorant. The highlighting component may be configured to transform the primary base colorant from a colored state to a transparent state to reveal the tinting colorant.
Pen and pen refill having a longitudinally extending groove for transferring decorative particles
A pen has an ink reservoir configured to store an ink containing decorative particles and a pen tip configured to apply the ink to an ink coating target. The pen tip includes a proximal end to which the ink is supplied from the ink reservoir, a distal end opposite to the proximal end and configured to contact the ink coating target, and a groove opening on the outer circumferential surface of the pen tip and extending from the proximal end to the distal end.
Writing, marking and/or drawing liquid for writing implements, especially for capillary pens, and writing implement
A writing, marking and/or drawing liquid for writing implements, especially for capillary pens, which has a viscosity of less than 50 mPas (Brookfield, 20 C., CPE-40 plate-cone), contains a resin mixture dissolved in a solvent matrix having at least one solvent. Wherein the resin mixture contains a first resin in the form of a modified resin ester and/or a dissolved polyester resin and a second resin in the form of a maleate resin and/or a rosin, especially a phenol-modified rosin. Additives are present in the form of at least one fluorosurfactant as wetter and at least one polyethersiloxane copolymer as glidant.
