DISHWASHING APPLIANCE AND METHODS OF OPERATION
A dishwashing appliance, including methods of operation, is provided. The dishwashing appliance may define a vertical direction and include a tub, a base conductivity sensor mounted at a first level within the tub, and an elevated conductivity sensor mounted at a second level within the tub, the second level being higher along the vertical direction than the first level.
DOMESTIC APPLIANCE FOR CLEANING A LOAD AND METHOD FOR CLEANING A LOAD IN A TREATMENT SPACE OF A DOMESTIC APPLIANCE
A domestic appliance for cleaning a load has a treatment space for accommodating a load to be cleaned, a load detecting device for detecting a load quantity in the treatment space, and a time detecting device for detecting a time value. A controller of the domestic appliance automatically starts a cleaning program when (i) the load quantity detected by the load detecting device exceeds a predetermined load limit value and (ii) the time value detected by the time detecting device exceeds a predetermined time limit value.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher including a washing tub having a bottom plate having an opening, a nozzle having a spraying hole configured to spray water, the nozzle passing through the opening, and a sealing member configured to seal the opening. The bottom plate includes a base portion on which the nozzle is installed, and a protruding portion extending downward from the base portion to form the opening, the nozzle includes a support portion on the base portion, and a nozzle side portion facing the protruding portion. A part of the support portion contacts the base portion and another part of the support portion is spaced apart from the base portion according to an inclination of the base portion, where the sealing member is disposed between the protruding portion and the nozzle side portion. The spraying trajectory of the water can thus be kept constant despite the inclination deviation of the base portion.
DISHWASHER
A dishwasher that includes: a tub; a main arm configured to rotate about a first axis and spray water; an auxiliary arm configured to rotate about a second axis and spray water in the interior space; a stationary gear unit configured to rotate based on rotation of the main arm to generate rotational force and including a plurality of gear teeth; an eccentric rotation unit engaged with one or more teeth of the plurality of gear teeth, and configured to, (i) based on rotation of the main arm, rotate to transfer rotational force of the stationary gear unit to the auxiliary arm and, (ii) based on resistance force from the auxiliary arm, control transfer of rotational force of the stationary gear unit to the auxiliary arm; and a link member configured to rotate the auxiliary arm based on rotational force of the stationary gear unit is disclosed.
Optical sensor for water-air detection
A sensor and a method of manufacture of a sensor includes a light interface portion comprising first and second walls, where a cavity is provided between the first and second walls, and where the first wall is configured such that at least a portion of light is totally reflected at the first wall when the sensor-external medium is water, and at least a portion of light is coupled out when the sensor-external medium is air, and a portion of light is coupled out and a further portion of light is totally reflected by the first wall when the sensor-external medium comprises foam. Light that is reflected by the first wall is directed toward a second wall, and reflected at the second wall to be directed to a light receiving element.
One-hundred percent all natural dishwashing composition comprising citrus fruit or berry powder and vinegar powder
A dishwashing composition which is a mixture of vinegar powder and lemon powder, or a mixture of vinegar powder, lemon powder and salt, for use in a dishwashing machine or for other cleaning purposes. The vinegar powder, lemon powder and, when present, salt can be mixed in any of a variety of proportions. The lemon powder, vinegar powder, and optional salt are non-toxic to humans and pets.
Dishwasher with Multi-Feed Washing System
A dishwasher includes a shiftable rack provided with multiple, distinct washing fluid spray arms connected to a common, rack supported manifold. When the rack is shifted to a retracted position within a tub of the dishwasher, the manifold mates with a coupling of a fluid distribution system including a multi-tube feed arrangement configured to selectively distribute washing fluid from a pump assembly to the multiple spray arms.
Dishwasher with transforming door
A dishwasher includes a door with at least a first part and a second part. The first part may be pivotally mounted to the dishwasher. The second part may be configured to be coupled to the first part for cooperative pivoting of the first part and the second part in one mode of operation. The second part may also be configured to move independently of the first part in another mode of operation.
Obstacle sensing spray arm for a dishwashing machine
A dishwasher having a tub at least partially defining a treating chamber and in which is provided a rotating sprayer for emitting liquid into the treating chamber. The rotation of the spray arm may be controlled such that rotation of the spray arm is responsive to a determination that the spray arm has contacted an obstacle within the treating chamber.
METHOD OF OPERATING A DISHWASHER AND A DISHWASHER
Provided is a method of operating a dishwasher including a heat pump circuit, wherein a condensate collection container is associated with an evaporator of the heat pump circuit. The method may include the steps of pumping a washing liquid from a sump of the dishwasher using a pump device, opening a first valve in a condensate conduit connecting the condensate collection container with a suction conduit of the pump device, pumping a condensate from the condensate collection container using the pump device. A dishwasher may also be provided.
