A writing, drawing, marking and/or painting utensil or cosmetics implement or input device for contact-sensitive surfaces, wherein the utensil/implement/device includes at least one shank element made of plastics material or a plastics-containing wood substitute. AUTOMATED CRAYON MELTING AND MOLDING DEVICE, METHOD, AND SYSTEM
Embodiments of the invention are directed to an automated crayon-molding device comprising a crayon-receiving member, an automated heating element, a crayon-melting chamber that is heated to a melting temperature by the automated heating element, and at least one mold. The crayon-receiving member receives the crayon at one end and has a closure mechanism at another held, preventing the crayon from entering in the crayon-melting chamber until it reaches a melting temperature. Once the inside of the crayon-melting chamber, the crayon melts and drips into a mold configured to receive melted wax. Embodiments of the invention also include a method for assembling an automated crayon-molding device and a system for molding crayons that includes a crayon-receiving member, an automated heating element, a crayon-melting chamber, a drawer positioned underneath the crayon-melting chamber, and at least one mold.
BODY FOR A WRITING, TRACING, DRAWING OR COLORING PENCIL
A body for a writing, tracing, drawing or coloring pencil has a composition that has, by weight, with respect to a total weight of the body between 50% and 95% of a mixture of polylactic acid and polybutylene succinate in a polylactic acid/polybutylene succinate ratio by weight of between 90/10 and 60/40 and between 5% and 50% of filler that includes an organic filler, such as wood fibers. A writing, tracing, drawing or coloring pencil includes such a body.

A novel blending stump pencil device that provides a user with one implement for both drawing and blending is disclosed. The device comprises a wood-bodied pencil with a blending stump attached to a rear of the pencil via a securing apparatus. The device comprises a clear finish and a removable plastic sleeve that protects the blending stump from damage and debris. Further, the device can be included in a kit with multiple pencil types.

There is also a pencil including the lead casing for the pencil of the disclosure for writing, drawing, marking, plotting, and/or coloring, as well as a method for manufacturing such a pencil.
