ENERGY RECOVERY SYSTEM FOR HEATED WATER
A free-standing Energy Recovery System enables sanitary recovery of thermal energy with heat transfer from hot waste effluent to incoming domestic water. The source of the effluent may, for example, be conventional commercial ware-washing, clothes washing equipment, pasteurization and other industrial processes.
APPLIANCE CONTROL AND MONITORING SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MAKING AND USING SAME
A method for remotely monitoring and operating a dishwashing machine includes providing a remote appliance monitoring and control unit. The unit has a portable housing having an indicator, a wireless network interface, a processor, and a memory having machine readable instructions configured to be executed by the processor. The instructions are executed to determine an attribute of the dishwashing machine and to control the indicator based on the determination of the attribute. The method includes communicatively coupling the unit to the dishwashing machine, and using the unit to determine the attribute of the dishwashing machine. The method comprises causing the unit to wirelessly communicate the determined attribute to a remote user computer together with a geographic location of the dishwashing machine. The method includes taking a responsive action in response to the determined attribute.
Method of maintaining commercial ware-washers
A method of maintaining commercial ware-washers includes sending a first exchange head to a designated location, receiving a second exchange head requiring repair, repairing the second exchange head, and sending the repaired second exchange head to a designated location. Each of the first and second exchange heads are capable of being removed from and installed on a commercial ware-washer without the use of tools.
Commercial ware-washer exchange head
A ware-washer control assembly includes electrical control components, an inlet water plumbing assembly, and a drain mechanism. Each of the electrical control components, inlet water plumbing assembly, and drain mechanism are contained within or attached to a housing for shipment and off-site service and distribution. The housing includes at least a first connector for attaching the housing to a ware-washer cabinet. The ware-washer control assembly further includes a plurality of connectors for connecting the electrical control components and inlet water plumbing assembly to a corresponding supply source and for connecting the drain mechanism to a drain plug assembly. Each of the first connector and the plurality of connectors are connected and disconnected by a user without tools.
Dishwasher and method for cleaning items to be washed
The invention proposes a dishwasher, comprising a cleaning chamber for accommodating washware. The dishwasher is designed to apply at least one washing liquid and at least one final-rinse liquid to the washware in the cleaning chamber. The dishwasher has a controller which is designed to carry out at least one cleaning program. The cleaning program comprises at least one washing step, in which the washing liquid is applied to the washware, and at least one final-rinse step, in which the final-rinse liquid is applied to the washware. The dishwasher has at least one operator control element which can be operated by a user. The controller is designed in such a way that the final-rinse step can be carried out at least once on the basis of operation of the operator control element after at least the washing step of the cleaning program has been carried out.
DISHWASHER IN THE FORM OF A COMMERCIAL UTENSIL WASHER OR DISHWASHER WHICH IS DESIGNED AS A BATCH DISHWASHER
A dishwasher in the form of a commercial utensil washer or dishwasher which is designed as a batch dishwasher and is realized as a hood-type dishwasher, wherein the dishwasher has a treatment chamber with at least one wash system which is designed as a recirculation system, wherein the treatment chamber has a first treatment zone and at least one further, second treatment zone, wherein items of washware can be treated independently of one another and at least temporarily at the same time in the first and in the at least one second treatment zone.

Method for operating a dishwasher, and dishwasher
A method is provided for operating a dishwasher (1) in the form of a batch dishwasher, which has a treatment chamber (2) for accommodating washware to be cleaned. Provision is made, during an adsorption phase, for air to be conducted out of the treatment chamber (2) through a sorption unit (41), which contains a reversibly dehydratable dry material, in such a way that the dry material absorbs moisture from the air stream, wherein the air is then returned to the treatment chamber (2). Provision is further made, during a desorption phase, for the dry material of the sorption unit (41) to be heated in such a way that moisture is desorbed from the dry material as steam. During the desorption phase, the sorption unit (41) is subjected to forced ventilation only to such an extent that recondensation of desorbed steam in the sorption unit (41) itself is effectively prevented.
