A MULTI-PURPOSE COMBINATION WRITING INSTRUMENT
A multi-purpose combination writing instrument comprising: at least three individual writing instruments, each individual writing instrument comprising a barrel having a proximal end and a distal end; a base having opposing first and second ends, the first end of the base comprising at least three receivers, wherein each receiver is adapted to receive the proximal end of the barrel of a corresponding individual writing instrument, and the second end of the base having at least three tape flag platforms disposed therein; and a cap rotatably mounted on the second end of the base over the at least three tape flag platforms, wherein an opening in the cap provides access to one tape flag platform at a time as it rotates around the second end of the base.
Wicking nib device and system
The technology described herein relates to a system and device for saturating an absorbent wicking nib with colored ink supplied by an ink pad having a well configured to receive a portion of the sidewall of the nib. Different colors of ink can be transferred to different portions of the nib sidewall to result in a multicolor marker nib.

COLOR LINKER
The application relates to a color linker comprising a base segment including a first portion and a second portion, each of which are configured to allow ink to flow therethrough, and a barrier positioned between the first and second portions, the barrier being configured to prevent the exchange of ink between the first and second portions; a mixing segment adjacent to the base segment, a tip segment adjacent to the mixing segment, and a tip applicator adjacent to the tip segment, the tip applicator being configured to deposit ink onto a writing surface.

WICKING NIB DEVICE AND SYSTEM
The technology described herein relates to a system and device for saturating an absorbent wicking nib with at least two inks transferred from at least two ink donor structures, to provide a multicolor marker nib. In aspects, a wicking nib device is configured to orient the saturated marking nibs of two different-colored, saturated marker nibs directly adjacent opposing side portions of a porous wicking nib, such that the porous wicking nib simultaneously wicks ink from both contacted marker nibs to create a dual-color marking nib. The wicking nib device may include an aperture for viewing the wicking action.
Writing implement comprising an intermediate piece
A writing implement has a casing body to which a grip member is connected, which is turn provided with a writing tip. The writing implement further has a protective cap. The casing body has an externally threaded portion for screwing down the protective cap into a writing position and an internally threaded portion to be connected to the grip member. An intermediate piece having a length L.sub.ZS is used to extend a length of the writing implement between the casing body and the grip member, wherein the intermediate piece is connectable to the casing body and to the grip member. As a result, a writing implement is obtained by means of which a handling of the writing implement for a user can be improved with low effort. Another design of a writing implement has a casing body, with a respective writing tip being connected to each of its two sides, wherein the writing implement has two interconnected grip members, with each of the grip members being provided with a respective one of the writing tips.
