Retractive writing utensil
A retractive writing utensil includes a shaft tube, a core stored in the shaft tube in such a manner as to protrude from a front end of the shaft tube when moved forward, and an urging member that is stretched and contracted in the shaft tube in a front-rear direction, wherein the urging member is located adjacent to the core radially outward in such a manner that the center of the urging member is positioned radially outside the core, and urges the core rearward.
WRITING INSTRUMENT
A writing instrument, in particular a pen, comprises a housing comprising a front barrel and a rear barrel, the front barrel having a front opening, two or more cartridges for storing colorants or inks, each cartridge having a writing tip, at least one actuator for selectively moving one of the cartridges within the housing so that the writing tip of a selected cartridge extends through the front opening of the front barrel, and a cartridge guide member which is designed to guide the movement of the cartridges within the housing. The front barrel and to the cartridge guide member are designed to be removed from the rear barrel for replacing one or more of the cartridges. In particular, the front barrel and the cartridge guide member may be removed from the rear barrel while the cartridge guide member may remain mounted to the front member at the same time.
Feeding pencil
A feeding pencil includes a main body including a main body barrel having a tubular shape, a front barrel detachably engaged with the main body barrel, and a cartridge disposed in the front barrel to receive a drawing material. The cartridge includes a tubular portion provided on a rear side of the cartridge, the main body includes an insertion portion provided on a front side of the main body and configured to be engaged with the tubular portion. When the cartridge is tilted from the main body, an engagement between the tubular portion and the insertion portion is released.
Coextrusion processes and products produced thererom
A method of coextruding polymeric materials into multiple layers of desired thickness to form a tubular workpiece. The method includes conveying a first polymeric material through a main extruder and a second polymeric material through a coextruder. The second polymeric material has dispersed therein an amount of electrically conductive particles effective to impart electrical conductivity to the tubular workpiece. The method further includes simultaneously extruding the first polymeric material and the second polymeric material through a coextrusion die to form the tubular workpiece. The tubular workpiece is extruded in the form of one or more outer layers having the first polymeric material and one or more inner layers comprising the second polymeric material. A tubular workpiece prepared by the method of coextruding polymeric materials into multiple layers of desired thickness. A system for coextruding polymeric materials into multiple layers of desired thickness to form a tubular workpiece is also provided.
Application container
An application container includes a main body cylinder, an application tool, and an engagement portion. The main body cylinder has a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The application tool is insertable into the main body cylinder through the first end of the main body cylinder. The engagement portion is positioned within the main body cylinder, and includes a cylindrical portion to connect with the application tool and a connector that connects the cylindrical portion and the main body cylinder. The cylindrical portion of the engagement portion is spaced apart from the main body cylinder.
Handheld implement in particular writing instrument
A handheld implement having a shaft with two shaft parts which are releasably connectable together via a plug-in coupling, with a coupling unit at each front end of the shaft parts. Each coupling unit has a slide held in a guide hole open on a face side in the associated shaft part and protrudes beyond the guide hole with a slide portion, the free end of which is formed as a latching fork that has a latching opening. The slide portion bears a latching protrusion behind the latching fork in the sliding direction. The coupling unit has a guide sleeve that encloses the slide and is guided into the guide hole counter to a restoring force, and when the front ends, having the coupling units, of the shaft parts are pressed together, the latching fork of one coupling unit is latchable on the latching protrusion of the other coupling unit.
One-Hand Operated Multi-Pencil
A four color multi-pencil capable of one-handed operation is presented. Each color is contained in a cartridge assembly and each cartridge assembly may be individually selected for use and the material within the cartridge advanced for dispensing by means of a single pressing motion. The multi-pencil is designed to be a snap together assembly. No fasteners or adhesives are required. The multi-pencil contains a main body and a barrel. Housed within the barrel are a plurality of cartridge assemblies. Housed within the main body are a plurality of slide members for actuating the cartridges. Each cartridge assembly contains a mechanism for advancing drawing material or material to be dispensed.

Writing, drawing, marking and/or painting utensil or cosmetics implement or input device for contact-sensitive surfaces, and method for producing the same
A writing, drawing, marking and/or painting utensil or cosmetics implement or input device for contact-sensitive surfaces, wherein the utensil/implement/device includes at least one shank element made of plastics material or a plastics-containing wood substitute. The at least one shank element has a surface, or in that the at least one shank element has a surface which is sheathed in a material layer having a cover surface. The surface of the shank element or the cover surface of the material layer is in the form of a haptic and/or non-slip layer. The haptic and/or non-slip layer has a structure formed in one piece with the shank element and/or the material layer. The structure is formed by corrugation.
