Dishwasher
A dishwasher comprises an internal reservoir for rinse-aid or other wash or rinse additive, a door associated with a refill port to the rinse-aid reservoir, and a flexible conduit between the refill port and the rinse-aid reservoir. The door associated with the refill port to the rinse-aid reservoir may also carry or enable access to a detergent compartment.
CONCENTRATED CONTROLLED FOAM DETERGENT
Concentrated controlled foaming detergent compositions for cleaning are provided. Concentrated liquid compositions including at least 40% active surfactants in the liquid composition made up of an amine oxide surfactant, an anionic sulfonate surfactant, and an alkoxylated nonionic surfactant in a concentrate that has less than about 1 ppm 1,4-dioxane are provided. Methods of using the concentrated foam-controlled compositions for dishwashing are also provided.
Soaker sinks and fluid distribution assemblies
An example soaker sink may include a sink basin that receives wash items therein and defines an inlet opening. The soaker sink may further include a manifold that defines an inlet opening, an interior that receives a fluid flow input via the inlet opening, and a plurality of outlets. The outlets may permit discharge of fluid from the interior of the manifold to the sink basin and may include at least a first outlet and may further include a common outlet dimension. The soaker sink may further include a pump fluidically coupled with the inlet opening of the sink basin and the inlet opening of the manifold to recirculate fluid from the sink basin to the manifold. A flow restrictor may be removably coupled with the first outlet and may be configured to modify a flow rate of the fluid discharged via the first outlet.
Kitchen sink system with multiple features
Provided are kitchen sink systems comprising one or more additional features for rinsing, cleaning, and/or drying. The one or more additional features can include a microbubble feature for rinsing produce, a rinsing feature for quickly and efficiently rinsing an item (e.g., dish or user's hands), a steam cleaning feature for cleaning an item (e.g., knife), and/or a retractable nozzle feature for efficiently drying and/or rinsing an item (e.g., drinking glass).
Overall hydraulic performance prediction method for sink-type dishwasher
Method for predicting the overall hydraulic performance of a sink-type dishwasher. Process begins with unsteady numerical computation on a dishwasher pump under static conditions to obtain a characteristic pump curve. Using this curve, rotation velocity adaptation coefficient (A.sub.d) and axial velocity coefficient (B.sub.d) are determined. Mapping relationship is established between composite superposition virtual impeller and composite impeller. Passive rotation velocity of the volute and the nozzle flow rate are calculated using GMO model and virtual impeller. A jet mass source is established, using the nozzle flow rate and the volute's passive rotation velocity as boundary conditions. This leads to a non-submerged rotating jet flow computation with a multi-nozzle setup using the VOF method. This approach streamlines the dishwasher's intricate multi-physics, conserves computing resources, and effectively resolves issues related to free surface divergence and estimating the volute's passive rotation speed, leading to an accurate prediction of the dishwasher's overall hydraulic performance.
VESSEL RINSER WITH CLEANING SOLUTION
A vessel rinsing apparatus includes a fluid discharge member having a plurality of nozzles and a trigger to control a flow of water to the nozzles. A source of cleaning agent enables the cleaning agent to be selectively inserted into the flow of water to the nozzles. A venturi device or a pump may introduce the cleaning agent into the flow of water to the nozzles.
