Multifunction writing instrument
A multifunction writing instrument comprising a body extending along an axial direction and receiving at least two retractable writing elements, each retractable writing element comprising a writing tip, a reservoir and a button, each retractable writing element being movable between a writing position in which the writing tip extends from the body and a retracted position in which the writing tip is retracted within the body, each retractable writing element being connected to an electronic unit in order to detect which retractable writing element is in the writing position.
WRITING INSTRUMENT
An attachment for a writing instrument, comprising a support member comprising a distal end (D) and a proximal end (P), wherein an attachment axis (A) is defined between the distal end and the proximal end, wherein the support member is configured to be attached to a writing instrument, an inertial measurement unit, wherein the inertial measurement unit is configured to measure a movement of the attachment axis (A) between a first and a second position of the attachment axis, a momentum wheel assembly, wherein the momentum wheel assembly comprises a first rotatable member coupled to a first motor, wherein the first motor is configured to apply a variable torque to the first rotatable member, and a control unit configured to actuate the first motor based on the movement of the attachment axis measured by the inertial measurement unit.
Digital pen with enhanced educational and therapeutic feedback
Disclosed is a digital pen that tracks the user's writing and provides useful feedback based on the user's writing. In one embodiment, the pen may provide feedback when the user has written a misspelled word, invalid mathematical expression, or any noncompliant expression. The pen may also provide feedback relating to the user's handwriting. The feedback may be visual, auditory, or tactile, and may be realtime or delayed. Statistics relating to the user's performance may be tracked, uploaded to external devices, and shared with others. This allows the user and interested parties to track the user's progress over time. The disclosed pen will be useful in educational settings.

Electronic pen, electronic pen cartridge, and electronic pen main unit
An electronic pen cartridge is mounted on a mounting part disposed in a pen-shaped casing. The electronic pen cartridge includes an electronic pen main unit and a mounting adapter. The electronic pen main unit includes a first coupling part configured to connect the mounting adapter to the electronic pen main unit in an axial center direction. The mounting adapter includes a second coupling part connected to the first coupling part of the electronic pen main unit, a third coupling part connected to the mounting part of the casing, and an elastic component that causes an elastic force to act between the mounting adapter and the electronic pen main unit in a connected state in which the second coupling part is connected to the first coupling part of the electronic pen main unit.
WRITING INSTRUMENT
A computer-implemented method for audio to tactile enhancement comprising obtaining audio data comprising a sample of speech, generating at least one haptic cue definition by performing a first signal processing operation on at least one portion of the audio data, and actuating a haptic actuator comprised in a user device or a writing instrument according to the at least one haptic cue definition. Examples concern obtaining a pulse signal representing a pulse of a user of the user device or the writing instrument, wherein the pulse signal is obtained substantially simultaneously with obtaining the audio data and applying a second signal processing operation to the pulse signal, wherein the second signal processing operation calculates a heart rate variability signal of the user.
Electronic pen
Provided is an electronic pen with a cylindrical housing including an opening at an end portion of the housing on a pen tip side of the housing, a cylindrical member disposed in the housing and fixed to the housing at a part on the pen tip side of the housing, and a core body formed in a rod shape by a material containing a pigment, the core body including a body portion inserted into the cylindrical member through the opening of the housing and a pull-out portion configured to enable the core body to be pulled out of the housing. A diameter of the body portion of the core body inserted into the cylindrical member is larger than a difference between an outer diameter of the cylindrical member and an inner diameter of the cylindrical member.
