An erasable, polymeric paged writing book for small children, with textured, flexible, bordered pages and an internal spine to spread the book flat. The pages have rounded corners. The book closes by hook-and-loop tab. The pages have a smaller profile than the covers, for resistance to wear and distortion. A fold-away pocket holds chalk and grease pencils. Optionally, a pleated storage compartment is on one of the covers. The pages have a smaller profile than the covers, for resistance to wear and distortion.

Large format erasable writable surfaces

An erasable writable material for large format applications is disclosed, and includes a cast polyvinylchloride film with a mount surface opposite an etched receiver surface. Also incorporated is a transparent polyester film that has a marking side with a hardness exceeding approximately shore D 79 and an opposite seal side, hermetically laminated to the receiver surface. The marking side includes a clear superstrate that has a hardness exceeding approximately shore D 90, which is applied to the marking side of the polyester film to lower surface energy below about 24 millinewtons per meter. The receiver surface is treated to have a surface energy exceeding about 45 millinewtons per meter, to enable improved adherence of printed and preformed graphic elements, which are encapsulated when laminated between the PET film and receiver surface. The superstrate includes a perfluoropolyether, a polyurethane, an acrylated polyurethane, and/or an acrylate resin to harden the material.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SUPPLEMENTING CAPTURED DATA

An evidence ecosystem that includes a capture system that detects physical properties in the environment around the capture system and captures data related to the physical properties. The capture system analyzes the captured data in accordance with patterns to detect characteristics and patterns in the captured data. Upon detecting a characteristic or a pattern, the capture system records the identified data and alignment data that identifies the location of the identified data in the captured data. The capture system sends the captured data, identified data, and alignment data to an evidence management system for use in generating reports and producing redacted copies of the captured data for distribution or presentation.

Zero/low VOC dry erase coatings and other variations
09868865 · 2018-01-16 ·

Multi-part and one-part dry erase compositions are disclosed herein, including methods of using such compositions to form low/zero volatile organic compound (VOC) dry erasable coatings. The multi-part dry erase composition comprises a mixture of a first part and a second part, wherein the first part comprises a curable epoxy resin, such as an aromatic epoxide with diglycidyl epoxy functionality, and the second part comprises an amine curing agent, such as cycloaliphatic polyamine. The one-part compositions comprise monomers, oligomers, and polymers of an aliphatic or aromatic isocyanate, such as a diisocyanate, and an amine curing agent, such as morpholine and derivatives thereof. The dry erase compositions have a VOC content of less than about 25 g/L. Dry erasable coatings also include the abilities to dry erase additional markings in addition to dry erase markers, to include, but not limited to, regular marker, permanent marker, pen, highlighter, crayon, and spray paints. The dry erasable coatings can also withstand wet erasing, cleaning, and deep cleaning, with more aggressive cleaning chemicals like acetone, xylene, and Goof-Off brand aerosol cleaner while still maintaining its dry erasable features.

1K WATERBORNE DRY-ERASE COATING COMPOSITION

Disclosed is a coating composition suitable for coating onto a wall or other substrate to yield a dry-erase coating, The composition may be prepared by reacting an excess amount of an aminosilane with a carbonate in aqueous media to yield a silylurethane, introducing an epoxysilane, and allowing the epoxysilane to react with the aminosilane to yield an aminodisilane. This reaction will result in a coating composition that comprises the silylurethane and the aminodisilane. The aqueous mixture of the silylurethane and the aminodisilane together constitute a coating composition that, upon curing, forms a dry-erase coating.

Systems and methods provide a user with the ability to mark a surface, easily remove the marking, and remark the same surface. The systems and methods include a marking implement and a mark-receiving surface. When the mark-receiving surface is marked, the resulting mark dries relatively quickly, tends not to smudge, and can be wiped from the surface easily, efficiently and effectively without lasting effect to the mark-receiving surface, which then is available to be marked again.

GARMENT WITH REWRITABLE AREAS
20170095021 · 2017-04-06 ·

A garment having an outer surface not designed for writing has at least one rewritable area comprising a layer of rewritable material deposited directly onto a selected region of the outer surface. One or more permanent artworks may be deposited onto the garment prior to deposit of the rewritable layer, which may be contiguous or non-contiguous. A stencil is provided for allowing a user to write on rewritable areas while protecting adjacent areas of the garment. In one method for forming the rewritable area, a first portion of a permanent artwork and a second portion of the permanent artwork are successively deposited on the garment, followed by curing the permanent artwork and depositing a rewritable area on the garment.
