Structurally compact backlit display assembly
A display assembly, having a base comprised of polymeric material, and having a front wall of at least one hundred square centimeters in area, and a rearward-extending base peripheral wall of at least 0.5 cm height. The front wall has raised regions and recessed regions that extend at least as far back as the peripheral wall at its furthest rearmost extent, so that when the base is placed against a flat surface the back of the recessed regions touches the flat surface. A polymeric cover is adapted to tension fit to the base, the polymeric cover including a generally transparent front wall. Translucent display media interposed between the base and the cover and a set of energy efficient lighting devices disposed in the recessed regions.
PORTABLE ART CASE
A compact, portable art case is contemplated with (1) an area within the case to store blank sheets for artwork, (2) an exterior surface of the case with a mechanism for holding the artwork in place and serving as a backdrop while coloring, drawing or painting, and (3) a tray interlocking with the case to hold colored pencils or other art supplies necessary to create the art.

Also, a cover, including a sheet having transparent display portion, is fit and held by tension between the resiliently deformable inwardly facing side surfaces. Further, display media interposed between the front surface and the cover. Finally, a level is set into the base assembly.
Children's drawing table
Described is a drawing table having a flat, rectangular surface disposed horizontally and having a pair of parallel elongated support members attached on opposing sides of the surface. Spindles are provided on opposing ends of the rectangular surface, and the spindles connect the pair of parallel elongated support members. A roll of paper can be suspended on a spindle and the paper can be stretched across the surface. The free end of the paper can be secured on the opposing side of the table by threading the paper through a slot that extends through the opposing spindle. The surface may further include a chalkboard thereon and one or more paper holders that maintain the position of the paper on the surface. Further, the drawing table includes legs that can be folded for storage, or unfolded so as to support the drawing table surface in a horizontal, elevated position.

The invention also refers to a board with surface configured for writing connected to said support system and the associated preparation method.
The guide rail enables the use of sheets of paper sized larger than the board. The invention may be furnished with individualized components, facilitating the replacement or acquisition of individual parts.
