TILE TOOL
A system, method, and apparatus for conveniently and accurately cutting material such as trim, tile, profiles, Schluter trim, or other such non-flat material which are difficult to hold steady, comprises a tool body, the tool body configured to have an adjacent side, an opposite side, and a hypotenuse, a hypotenuse slit formed in the tool body, a second slit formed in the tool body, and an indentation in the tool body.
Variable radius arc scribing arrangement for a framing square
A layout tool for scribing an arc includes an arm, a variable location pivot point arrangement on the arm, and a plurality of mark openings spaced from the pivot point arrangement. A position fixing member, such as a nail, is engaged with the pivot point arrangement to fix the position of the tool on a workpiece at a pivot point defined by the position fixing member. A marking instrument is engaged within one of the mark openings, and the tool is pivoted on the workpiece about the pivot point to make an arcuate mark on the workpiece at a radius defined by the location of the position fixing member relative to the mark opening within which the marking instrument is engaged. The tool may be a square, which is configured with two arms that extend away from each other at a predetermined angle.

Improved Carpenter Tools
A carpenter square includes a body including a first, second, and third edges. A fence is pivoted to the first edge for movement among first, second, and third positions. In the first and second positions, the fence is normal to the body. In the third position, the fence is coplanar to the body. A hinge assembly pivots the fence to the body and includes a notch in the body, a recess in the notch, and a tab projecting from the fence and fit over the pin for reciprocating and swinging movement. The tab moves between a neutral stance, in which the tab is mis-registered with the recess and disables movement of the fence among the first, second, and third positions, and an advanced stance, in which the tab is registered with the recess and enables movement of the fence among the first, second, and third positions.
Improved Carpenter Tools
A carpenter tool includes a triangular body having a hypotenuse edge opposite a right corner, a first edge extending between the right corner and the hypotenuse edge, and a second edge extending between the right corner and the hypotenuse edge opposite the first edge. A fence is pivoted to the first edge for movement between first and second positions. In the first position, the fence is normal to the triangular body. In the second position, the fence is coplanar to the triangular body.
Speed square with extension
A speed square is provided including a triangular flat plate having measurement markings indicated on at least one face, a T bar affixed to, and extending along, the length of a first side of the triangular flat plate, and an extension element hingedly connected to an end of second side of the triangular flat plate opposite the T bar. The extension element having measurement markings indicated on at least one face, such that the measurement markings of the triangular flat face continue on the extension element.
Dual Speed Square
A dual speed square has a first triangle member, a second triangle member, and an intermediate connector. The first triangle member and the second triangle member are each laterally and hingedly connected to the intermediate connector opposite each other through a first hinge joint and a second hinge joint, respectively. The triangle members rotate respective to the intermediate connector between a deployed configuration and a stored configuration. In the deployed configuration, the triangle members may be placed on opposite sides of a workpiece in order to identically mark out the opposite sides of the workpiece. In the stored configuration, the triangle members are positioned adjacent to each other, occupying a smaller space than in the deployed configuration for easier transport and storage.

The extension element having measurement markings indicated on at least one face, such that the measurement markings of the triangular flat face continue on the extension element.
Multifunctional writing device for automatic exam proctoring and grading
A multifunctional writing device includes a hollow body, wherein the hollow body comprises one or more cavities configured to store a mechanical pencil, a multifunctional drawing tool, a compass needle, a stylus, an eraser, a USB flash drive, an imaging system, a projector pen, a set of cameras, and attaches a projector stick. The first writing member comprises a mechanical pencil system being provided in a first portion of the hollow body and a touch ID sensitive barrel. A second projector member comprises a projector pen and attaches a projector stick. The first portion of the hollow body is at the opposite end of the second portion of the hollow body. The multifunctional writing device allows for projecting self-leveled and auto calibrated geometry drawing tools. A method for digitizing the written data on paper and a system for secure, auto proctored, and auto grading of examinations is provided.
Framing square
A framing square including an integrated protractor feature is provided. The framing square includes a blade section, and a tongue section joined at a corner section. The corner section further includes a pivot opening, to rotatably couple the framing square to a workpiece. The blade section includes an array of marking openings. The marking openings are spaced from each other in the array, and the array is positioned a first distance from the pivot opening along a longitudinal axis of the blade. The marking openings can be sized to receive a particular marking instrument (e.g., a pencil or knife) for use with a particular framing square.
