ILLUSTRATION ROBOT MOVEMENT
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to illustration robot movement. In examples, a destination location may specify a location to which the illustration robot should move a writing instrument from its current location. In some examples, the robot may not be parallel to the vector from the location of the writing instrument to the destination location, such that the robot may need to rotate or turn in order to create the illustration. Accordingly, the robot may move along an arc determined to cause the writing instrument to move tangent to the vector. Further, the arc may be periodically recalculated in order to maintain the movement of the writing instrument along the vector, rather than along an arc.
GENERATING MECHANICALLY RENDERED OBJECTS FROM DIGITAL INPUT
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for generating mechanically rendered objects from digital input. In one embodiment, an example method may include generating, by a computer processor(s) coupled to at least one memory, a digital handwriting file comprising one or more digital characters, wherein a first digital character has a first glyph and a second glyph. Example methods may include receiving digital text comprising a set of characters for conversion to physically written text, wherein the set of characters comprises a first instance of a first character corresponding to the first digital character and a second instance of the first character, selecting the second glyph for a first physically written conversion of the first instance of the first character, selecting the first glyph for a second physically written conversion of the second instance of the first character, and causing conversion of the digital text.
Color- or grayscale-sensing, magnetic, mobile, marking robot
In a method for interactive marking by a mobile robot on a vertical surface, a mobile robot that includes a sensor and an actuated marker is displaced across a vertical surface. Features on, in or behind the vertical surface are detected with the sensor. Displacement of the mobile robot and actuation of the actuated marker is controlled in response to the detection of these features.
PEN CARTRIDGE
A pen cartridge that holds a pen, detachably attached to a plotter to perform drawing using the pen includes: a cylindrical hollow housing into which the pen is inserted; an operation member provided on the housing; the operation member to rotate between two positions around a central axis with respect to the housing; the central axis extends in the direction in which the pen is inserted; and a grasping member provided in the housing and including a plurality of grasping parts to grasp an outer circumference of the pen inserted into the housing at a plurality of different locations in an axial direction, the plurality of grasping parts to transition from a released state to a grasping state when the operation member is rotated.
Carpenter tools
A carpenter tool includes a triangular body having a hypotenuse edge opposite a right corner, a first edge extending between the right corner and the hypotenuse edge, and a second edge extending between the right corner and the hypotenuse edge opposite the first edge. A fence is pivoted to the first edge for movement between first and second positions. In the first position, the fence is normal to the triangular body. In the second position, the fence is coplanar to the triangular body.
Drawing apparatus, method of controlling operation of the drawing apparatus, and computer readable recording medium
A drawing apparatus is provided. In the apparatus plural drawing tools for applying ink on an object are held by plural drawing tool holding units respectively. A drawing unit takes one of the plural drawing tools from the plural drawing tool holding units to draw an image on the object. An imaging unit images an identification image, which includes first information representing colors of inks to be applied respectively by the plural drawing tools and second information representing an arrangement of the plural drawing tools held in the plural drawing tool holding units. A controlling unit controls the drawing unit to draw a design image having at least one color on the object, based on the first and second information included in the identification image and the color of the design image.
Drawing apparatus and drawing method for drawing apparatus
A drawing apparatus including a drawing head to which a drawing tool is mounted, the drawing tool drawing on a drawing object; a drawing testing portion having a drawing media on which an image is drawn by the drawing tool; and a control unit. The control unit interrupts drawing on the drawing object by the drawing tool and attempts drawing on the drawing media by the drawing tool in the drawing testing portion when the drawing on the drawing object by the drawing tool is not performed correctly.
REMOVABLE RULER FOR MANUAL CERAMIC CUTTERS
A removable ruler for manual ceramic cutters which can be rotatably mounted on the base of a manual ceramic cutter and which includes a rotary platform permanently secured to the base of the cutter by a rotary shaft; and two removable lateral extensions. The platform includes securing means for the rapid coupling and subsequent uncoupling of the lateral extensions.
Eyebrow contour tool
The present invention relates to only a cosmetic tool, particularly an Eyebrow Contour Tool. The Eyebrow Contour Tool may be held in one hand, is structured to receive and hold only eyebrow makeup pencils with securing mechanisms, that is for the purpose of outlining and bounding a natural shape of an eyebrow in a symmetrical and consistent form.
Handwriting tool and method of use
A handwriting tool includes a paper holder having a writing surface, a longitudinal axis, an upper section, a lower section, and a plurality of spaced-apart line stations disposed parallel to the longitudinal axis. A writing guide is connected to the paper holder, the writing guide is slidably positionable along the longitudinal axis. The writing guide has a stop which is engagable with each line station of the plurality of spaced-apart line stations. The writing guide includes a transverse upper writing edge which is positionable in the upper section of the paper holder, and a transverse lower writing edge which is positionable in the lower section of the paper holder.
