WAREWASH RACK SYSTEM AND WAREWASHER WITH ASSOCIATED WAREWASH RACK SYSTEM
A ware rack system for holding lightweight wares during cleaning in a warewash machine includes a lower ware rack including a bottom wall, upright side walls and a plurality of pegs extending upward from the bottom wall, wherein a multiplicity of the pegs are tall pegs that have upper ends that are located higher than upper edges of the upright side walls. An upper ware rack may be placed inverted atop the lower ware rack to capture lightweight wares between the upper ends of the tall pegs and the bottom wall of the upper ware rack.
STEAM GENERATOR
A steam generator for generating steam by boiling water, or other hot water heating device, in either case such as for use in a steam cooker or warewasher, includes a tank structure providing a heating chamber for holding water, and at least one heating element associated with the tank structure for heating water. The tank structure includes a main body wall having a U-shaped cross-sectional profile formed by opposed first and second side wall portions of the heating chamber and a curved bottom wall portion of the heating chamber, wherein the curved bottom wall portion is monolithic with the first and second side wall portions, wherein the main body wall is sheet metal material that has been curved.
Dishwasher appliance and a method for forming a unitary tub
A dishwasher appliance with a tub is provided. The tub defines a filter medium and a supply conduit within the tub. The supply conduit of the tub extends from the filter medium to a spray assembly such that the supply conduit of the tub directs filtered water from the filter medium to the spray assembly during operation of a pump. A related method for forming a unitary tub for a dishwasher appliance is also provided.

Pre-soak option for dishwashers
A dishwasher includes an independent presoak system which may be activated by a user of the dishwasher. The dishwasher presoak system utilizes a storage tank, supply tubes, and set of nozzles which are independent from components used in a washing cycle such that a presoak detergent is applied to items placed within a washing compartment of the dishwasher without being diluted by a standard wash cycle. As part of the presoak system, the dishwasher features a detection system which allows the user to select an automatic presoak operating state whereby the dishwasher utilizes a sensor to determine if items placed into the washing compartment are sufficiently dirty to need a presoak cycle prior to a washing cycle. The dishwasher further relies on a control system to analyze samples taken of the dirtiness levels of items placed within the washing compartment and determine whether a presoak option is necessary or suggested.

Dishwasher with sprayer
A dishwasher for treating dishes according to at least one automatic cycle of operation and including a tub having a bottom wall for at least partially defining a treating chamber in which dishes may be received for treatment, at least one sprayer provided on the bottom wall, and having at least one opening through which liquid is emitted into the treating chamber, and a recirculation circuit fluidly coupling the treating chamber to the at least one sprayer such that liquid emitted into the treating chamber may be directed back to the sprayer for recirculation.
GLASSES RACK FOR DISHWASHER
A glasses rack for a dishwasher may be configured to hold glasses in an inclined position. The glasses may be inclined at a predetermined angle relative to horizontal to allow draining of treating liquid from the glasses yet achieve a reduced overall height of the dish rack relative to a conventional dish rack. A bottom wall of the dish rack may be inclined at an angle that matches an effective inclination angle of an upper, tiered dish rack, and the bottom wall inclination angle may correspond to the glasses inclination angle. A sprayer may be mounted to the dish rack and arranged to spray treating liquid into the interior of the glasses.
