A moldable eraser kit includes a first silicone polymer, a second silicone polymer, an abrasive agent, a catalyst configured to catalyze a reaction between the first silicone polymer and the second silicone polymer at room temperature, and at least two containers such that the first silicone polymer, the second silicone polymer, and the catalyst are not all present in the same container. Also disclosed herein is a method of making an eraser including the steps of mixing a first silicone polymer, a second silicone polymer, a catalyst, an abrasive agent, and optionally one or more additives to form a mixture, the mixture being free of polyvinyl chloride. The method also includes molding the mixture to form a shape and curing the mixture in the shape at room temperature to form a molded eraser.

An eraser includes: a base material including a plasticizer and at least one of a resin component or an elastomer component; and a porous foam made of a resin and impregnated with the resin base material, and the plasticizer has an SP value of 8.3 or more and 10 or less.

The present invention provides writing compositions that are capable of being erased or changed in color chemically. The present invention also provides erasing media for erasing or changing the color of marks produced with the writing compositions, as well as writing systems and incorporating the erasing media and the writing compositions. The present invention further provides writing instruments produced using the writing compositions.

An eraser for removing strokes of writing, painting and/or drawing implements, including at least one binder and at least one plasticizer, wherein the at least one plasticizer is a polyol ester.

The present disclosure relates to a friction body for discoloring handwriting written with a thermochromic ink with frictional heat, wherein the friction body comprises a surface portion configured to generate frictional heat when manually rubbed on a porous substrate and wherein the surface portion has a thermal effusivity of less than about 300 J K.sup.1 m.sup.2 s.sup.1/2.

A whiteboard eraser includes a first side defining a grip surface, and a second side defining an eraser surface. The eraser surface comprises a reticulated scrubbing portion. The eraser surface may also include a textile wiping portion less abrasive than the reticulated scrubbing portion.
