The disposal system includes a first inlet coupled to the sink basin, a second inlet fluidly coupled to a second fluid source, and a garbage disposal configured to receive a first flow of fluid from the sink basin via the first inlet and receive a second flow of fluid from a second fluid source via the second inlet. The sink basin delivers a flow of used water to the disposal system and the second fluid source delivers a flow of clean water to the disposal system.
DISHWASHING APPLIANCE HAVING A DOOR LINKAGE ASSEMBLY
A dishwashing appliance may include a cabinet, a tub, a door, a spring linkage, and a bent linkage latch. The cabinet may extend laterally between a pair of opposing lateral sides. The door may be rotatably positioned at a front opening and providing selective access to a wash chamber of the cabinet. The spring linkage may bias the door toward a closed position. The spring linkage may extend from a first end to a second end. The first end may be mounted to the cabinet. The second end may include a fastener selectively attached to the door. The bent linkage latch may extend laterally from the cabinet at one of the pair of opposing lateral sides below the door along a vertical direction. The bent linkage latch defining a vertically open latch channel to selectively receive the spring linkage when the fastener is detached from the door.
Targeted dish cleaner
A system and method for cleaning a dish, comprising: illuminating said dish with a light source; capturing an image of said dish with a camera; inspecting said image to determine if said dish is clean; and estimating locations of dirty regions on said dish; spraying a fluid with a first nozzle on said dish with a predetermined spray distribution, wherein said first nozzle can reorient or relocate to spray said fluid on any region of said dish visible in said image; and spraying a fluid with a second nozzle on said dish with a spray distribution having a smaller coverage than that of said first nozzle, wherein said second nozzle is relocated or reoriented such that the fluid reaches said dirty regions at said locations on said dish; whereby dirty regions of said dish are targeted for a fast and efficient cleaning of said dish.
Washing container, domestic dishwasher, and method
A dishwasher cavity for a household dishwasher includes a bottom panel having a bottom portion, and a U-shaped dishwasher cavity jacket arranged on the bottom panel and fixedly connected thereto, with the bottom panel and the dishwasher cavity jacket configured to form an attachment flange that encircles the dishwasher cavity. A back panel is attached to the bottom panel and to the dishwasher cavity jacket via the attachment flange. The bottom panel includes a stamped step, which faces in a direction of a top panel of the dishwasher cavity jacket and protrudes out of the bottom portion of the bottom panel, with the attachment flange having a part formed on the stamped step.
Washing container and domestic dishwasher
A dishwasher cavity for a household dishwasher includes a U-shaped dishwasher cavity casing, a U-shaped frame connected to the dishwasher cavity casing and supporting the dishwasher cavity casing, and a hinge plate provided on the frame. The frame includes a receiving portion. The hinge plate includes a depth positioning portion, which is received in a form-fit manner in the receiving portion of the frame to fix the hinge plate to the frame in a depth direction of the dishwasher cavity.
Dish washing machine and method of controlling the same
A dish washing machine includes a door, a main body in which a washing tub for opening and closing the front opening of the door is provided, and a basket configured to be installed in the washing tub to be able to move in and out of the washing tub and to contain dishes. A sensing unit is configured to sense a basket identifier and a door identifier. A driving unit is configured to drive a vane. A controller is configured to control the driving unit such that cleaning is performed for each dish storage area of the basket based on the sensed result of a sensing unit. The controller determines the area where the dishes are laid, and controls the driving unit to clean the dish storage area where the dishes are laid.
Dishwasher and method for operating a dishwasher
A dishwasher includes a pump device operated by a pump current for supply of washing liquor to a first spray device via a first hydraulic arrangement for providing a first washing zone and to a second spray device via a second hydraulic arrangement for providing a second washing zone. A third spray device is connected to one of the first and second hydraulic arrangements for providing an intensive washing zone. In a first switching state, the third spray device is isolated from the one hydraulic arrangement, and in a second switching state the third spray device is connected to the one hydraulic arrangement. A control device determines a current switching state of the third spray device as a function of a difference between the pump current when washing liquor is supplied to the first hydraulic arrangement and when washing liquor is supplied to the second hydraulic arrangement.
Seal for dish washer and dish washer having same
A seal for a dish washer and a dish washer having the seal are provided. The seal has a side seal part, a radial seal part and a mounting part. The side seal part seals a gap between an inner side surface of a water tank of the dish washer and a door body of the dish washer. The radial seal part is connected to the side seal part and seals a gap between an upper surface of the water tank and the door body. The mounting part is connected to at least one of the side seal part and the radial seal part and is mounted to the door body.
Dishwasher with wall-mounted rotatable conduit
