A marking system for decorating one or more workpieces includes a plurality of marking stations that can mark product images on blank workpieces to produce product workpieces, at least some of which have different sizes, shapes, materials, or a combination thereof, a control system that can select one of the plurality of marking stations and send product image data to the selected one of the plurality of marking stations, and a robotic manipulator that can transport a blank workpiece to the selected marking station under the control of the robotic manipulator. The selected marking station can mark the product image the blank workpiece based on the product image data which produces a product workpiece. The robotic manipulator can remove the product workpiece from the selected one of the plurality of marking stations.

The present disclosure provides an identification code recognition system, including: a camera configured to capture an image of an entire area of an identification code (ID code) engraved on a workpiece; a scanner configured to scan a partial area including at least one misrecognized character in the entire area of the ID code; and an image analyzer including a memory and a processor, wherein the memory is configured to store the ID code, data related to the ID code, an image captured by the camera, and an image scanned by the scanner, and the processor is configured to analyze the image captured by the camera and the image scanned by the scanner based on an image analysis logic.

An apparatus comprising a handling and trimming station of parts to be machined, multiple optical, magnetic or radio-frequency identification (RFID) reading systems for processing labels or tags information for sequential workpieces machining steps, a multiple gantries computer numerical control (CNC) station for machining workpieces on various sides, multiple rotating tool changers for selecting tools used to machine workpieces, and a storage station that receives workpieces in sequential order when they have been processed. The moving gantries of the CNC station simultaneous machine multiple sides of the workpiece which in the preferred embodiment is composed of panel for making decorative items and engraved doors.

A processing apparatus for performing not only cutting and drawing, but also other processing, and a cartridge used for the processing apparatus are provided. The processing apparatus includes a first cartridge including: a first processing tool to form a machining mark by grinding or cutting a surface of a sheet-like object; an actuator to operate by an external power supply and drive the first processing tool; and a first housing to accommodate the first processing tool where a tip of the first processing tool is exposed and accommodate the actuator. The processing apparatus also includes a carriage including a mounting section which the first cartridge is detachably mounted; a transfer mechanism to move the object and the carriage relatively to each other; and a control circuit to control driving of the transfer mechanism to form the machining mark on the surface of the object by the first processing tool.

At least one type of engraving parameter for a workpiece under processing is configured or stored in a database of a computer terminal. After an apparatus terminal receives one of the engraving parameters in the database, an engraving device on the apparatus terminal is driven to perform an engraving operation. When the engraving device moves back and forth on the same engraving path, the engraving device performs the engraving operation in only one direction.

A laser engraver having a laser, a camera, and a plate for holding a product, wherein an optical path of the laser is directed to the plate, an optical path of the camera is directed to the plate, and the optical path of the camera to the plate and the optical path of the laser to the plate are at least partially the same before and when hitting the plate. The laser engraver includes a controller and a comparator, wherein the controller is configured to have the laser engrave a predefined pattern at a predefined position on the product on the plate to form an engraved pattern on the product and have the camera capture a position of the engraved pattern, have the comparator compare the predefined position and the position captured by the camera to determine a difference therebetween, and use the difference to calibrate the laser.

Each engraving tool includes cutting sections for engraving a corresponding face of a key.

A CNC machine comprises a holder for a workpiece to be machined, a tool array comprising one or more tools, a machining arm adapted to select and use one of said one or more tools to machine said workpiece, and a marking device positionable in said tool array and selectable by said machining arm. The marking device comprises an optionally fluid-sealed housing and a marking head mounted in housing for translational movement in a marking plane. The marking head has a marking tip, being moveable in a marking direction substantially orthogonal to said marking plane for marking said workpiece. A controller is used for controlling the translational movement of the marking head and the marking pin. A communicator enables communication externally at least to operate the marking tip but also preferably said translational movement to describe the desired shape of mark to be made.
