A drying appliance may include a support frame, a planar drying rack and an absorbent tray. The support frame may include a first rectangular end and a second rectangular end, each of which may include a top rail, a bottom rail, a first side rail and a second side rail. Lower lateral rails and upper later rails may connect the first rectangular end to the second rectangular end. A planar drying rack may be disposed between the upper lateral rails and the lower lateral rails. An upper interior volume may be defined by a top surface of the planar drying rack, inner edges of the upper lateral rails and upper edges of the top rails of the first rectangular end and the second rectangular end. The planar drying rack may be free of upwardly extending projections within the upper interior volume.

A drying appliance may include a support frame, a planar drying rack and an absorbent tray. A drying system having a wicking member defined by a top-surface, a bottom-surface, and a thickness; wherein the drying system for items includes the wicking member suitable for supporting the items for drying in an ambient environment. The bottom-surface is able to be placed on a planar-surface (such as a table or counter or the like) to support the wicking member, the bottom-surface adjacent the planar-surface when used. The wicking member has pleated vertical members protruding upwardly from the top-surface. The wicking member may be made of terry cloth or other suitable fabric that is flexible.

A foldable dish rack having a case including a base, a lid, and a side wall extending from the periphery of at least a portion of the base, and a mat including a plurality of projections and a first mat hinge dividing a first mat portion and a second mat portion that provides for the second mat portion to fold relative the first mat portion from a planar configuration to a folded configuration whereby the second mat portion rests flat on the first mat portion, with the lid connected to a portion of the side wall by a case hinge such that the lid is capable of converting from a closed configuration against the side walls to an open configuration approximately perpendicular to a plane of the base.

A foldable dish rack having a case including a base, a lid, and a side wall extending from the periphery of at least a portion of the base, and a mat including a plurality of projections and a first mat hinge dividing a first mat portion and a second mat portion that provides for the second mat portion to fold relative the first mat portion from a planar configuration to a folded configuration whereby the second mat portion rests flat on the first mat portion, with the lid connected to a portion of the side wall by a case hinge such that the lid is capable of converting from a closed configuration against the side walls to an open configuration approximately perpendicular to a plane of the base.

A combination drying mat, rack and storage container having a mat having a raised attachment wall extending therefrom, a container having an outer wall arranged to removably accept the raised attachment wall therein, and a rack pivotably secured to the container and arranged to move between a first position wherein the rack is resting upon the mat and a second position wherein the rack is tucked at least partially into an area within the container. In some arrangements, the combination drying mat, rack and storage container may further include a flexible and expandable band pivotably attached to the container, wherein the band is arranged to pivot and substantially secure the rack in the second position.

A combination drying mat, rack and storage container having a mat having a raised attachment wall extending therefrom, a container having an outer wall arranged to removably accept the raised attachment wall therein, and a rack pivotably secured to the container and arranged to move between a first position wherein the rack is resting upon the mat and a second position wherein the rack is tucked at least partially into an area within the container. In some arrangements, the combination drying mat, rack and storage container may further include a flexible and expandable band pivotably attached to the container, wherein the band is arranged to pivot and substantially secure the rack in the second position.

The present invention relates to a dish rack that includes: a lower rack that has a drain hole formed in the bottom thereof and receives a dish therein; an upper rack that is provided above the lower rack at a different height and receives a dish therein; and a support frame coupled to the lower and upper racks to maintain the lower and upper racks spaced apart from each other, wherein the lower and upper racks and the support frame are assembled to each other through coupling bosses and coupling holes that are formed therein to correspond to each other. In the present invention, the upper and lower racks and the support frame of the dish rack can be assembled to each other in an easy and simple manner through the coupling bosses and the coupling holes without a separate fastener, thereby enhancing assembly efficiency of the dish rack.

A foodware storage system includes a storage rack, a hook assembly, and a foodware item. The storage rack includes a rod having an adjustable length coupled between a first support and a second support to maintain the rod in an elevated position above a surface upon which the storage rack is placed. The rod is disconnectably connected to at least one of the supports. The hook assembly includes a hanger and a hook. The hook is suspended from the hanger and the hanger is configured to slidably move along the adjustable length of the rod. The foodware item has an aperture dimensioned to receive the hook such that the foodware item can be hung from the hook to dry when wet.
