DECORATED-PART AND A METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A method for manufacturing a decorated-part comprises a first and second base coat-layer-forming process, a surface coat-layer-forming process and a laser-decorating process. In the first base coat-layer-forming process, the first base coat-layer colored in a highly light color at a lightness-level of 70 or more is formed on the surface of the resin base-material 12. In the second base coat-layer-forming process, the second base coat-layer 21C colored in a chromatic color is formed on the first base coat-layer. In the surface coat-layer-forming process, the surface coat-layer colored in a less-bright color at a lightness-level of 20 or less is formed on the second base coat-layer 21C. In the laser-decorating process, the first laser-processed groove penetrating the surface coat-layer and exposing partially the second base coat-layer is made by irradiating the infrared laser onto such surface coat-layer, thus providing a fine decoration onto the surface of said decorated-part.
Methods and apparatus for applying decorative elements to workpieces
Apparatus for automatically applying a decorative element to a workpiece comprises an element applicator configured to apply the decorative element in an application direction at an application location, a moveable support for supporting the workpiece, the support being moveable by translation and/or rotation along and/or about an axis transverse to the application direction, and a control arrangement. The control arrangement is configured to determine, or receive information relating to, an element location at which the decorative element is to be applied to the workpiece, cause relative translation and/or rotation between the support and the decorative element applicator along and/or about an axis transverse to the application direction to align and/or orient the application location with the element location, and cause the decorative element applicator to apply the decorative element at the element location of the workpiece.

Method of producing a decorated element for a timepiece or piece of jewellery, and element made by the method
The method makes it possible to produce a decorated element for a timepiece or piece of jewelry. This decorated element may be, for example, a watch dial. The method includes the steps of taking a base substrate, and micromachining on said base substrate a mold or decorative partitions in a programmed pattern, and filling the mold or the decorative partitions with at least one filler material to obtain the decorated element. The filler material may be an epoxy resin and the mold or the partitions are obtained by melting and solidifying a solder paste or powder.

Method for affixing decorative object and decorative object
A method for affixing a decorative object on an object that is to be decorated includes a process for causing the force holding the decorative object on an affixing film to differ locally; a process for attaching the decorative object on the surface of the affixing film on the side facing the object that is to be decorated; a process for disposing the affixing film to face the object that is to be decorated; and a process for, after air inside a cover and a vessel has been evacuated, introducing a fluid into the space between the affixing film and the cover, and applying pressure to affix the decorative object on the object that is to be decorated.
