Board for Stringed Instrument, Acoustic Stringed Instrument, and Method of Manufacturing Board for Stringed Instrument
A manufacturing method for a board for a stringed instrument that is used as a top plate or a back plate of an acoustic stringed instrument such as a violin, where the board has a purfling, includes forming, for instance, a groove with a depth that is 20% or more and less than 60% of a thickness of the board for a stringed instrument, filling the groove with a resin in which, for instance, colored particles having a diameter of 3 ?m or more and less than 70 ?m are dispersed and which has a degree of elongation of 20% or more, removing the resin that has flowed out of the groove, and curing the resin.
METHOD FOR IMPROVING VISUAL CONTRAST OF LASER ETCH MARKING ON PAINTED SUBSTRATES
A method for improving visual contrast of laser etch markings on painted substrates may comprise applying a laser light to a surface of a painted layer to ablate an ablated portion of the painted layer, applying a contrast layer over the surface of the painted layer to fill the ablated portion with the contrast layer, and removing the contrast layer to leave a contrasting portion within the ablated portion. The method may further comprise forming a floor beneath a surface line of the ablated portion, the floor defining an underlying portion comprised of the painted layer. The method may further comprise applying a protective layer over the contrasting portion.
A LOGO ON A DEVICE
In some examples, a method of forming a logo on a device includes forming, using a laser, a pattern on an outer surface of a housing of the device, and soldering a metal to the pattern formed using the laser, the soldered metal forming the logo.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A TIMEPIECE MOVEMENT COMPONENT
The method for manufacturing a timepiece movement component (1) having at least a first portion comprising a surface (11), in particular an upper surface, includes etching (E3) the surface (11) of the timepiece movement component (1) or of a blank (1a) of the timepiece movement component (1) in order to form at least one cavity (7); and depositing a material (E4) in the at least one cavity (7).
Decoration panel and method for manufacturing decoration panel
A decoration panel of the present invention includes an outer layer having a through hole formed thereon which is opened to a front surface to be decorated and a back surface on a side opposite to the front surface, and a decoration layer including an inlay pattern portion which is part of the decoration layer entering the inside of the through hole from the back surface side being curved and deformed, the decoration layer being arranged on the entire back surface of the outer layer and having an approximately uniform layer thickness.

Glass Substrate With Pigmented Ceramic Enamel Layer
A vehicle windshield assembly including a glass layer, a first layer, and a second layer is disclosed. The glass layer has inner and outer surfaces. The first layer contacts the inner surface of the glass layer, and defines voids in the first layer in a shape of a design. The second layer contacts the first layer and occupies the voids. The first and second layers have a color contrast to enhance visibility of the design.
