Roller-Type Applicator Cleaning Apparatus
A roller-type applicator cleaning apparatus includes a lid, a housing, a water inlet valve, a base, a plurality of radial openings, and a central axis. The base includes a platform and an applicator holder. The lid, the housing, and the base are concentrically positioned along the central axis. The applicator holder is adjacently connected onto the platform and function as a storage space for the roller-type applicator. The plurality of radial openings laterally traverses through the applicator holder so that a flow of water can discharge into the applicator holder as the flow of water is entered into the housing through the water inlet. The lid and the base are oppositely positioned of each other about the housing and threadedly attached to the housing. The applicator holder is encircled by the housing so that the flow of water can fully engaged with the inserted applicator that needs to be cleaned.
Single Construction Paint Roller Cleaners
Paint roller cleaning implements are described for allowing users to, among other things, wash and reuse or recycle paint rollers. A paint roller cleaning implement includes a first cylindrical structure sized and dimensioned to engage an inner surface of a paint roller frame of a first size; a second cylindrical structure sized and dimensioned to engage an inner surface of a paint roller frame of a second size different from the first; and a base structure configured to support and maintain a paint roller vertically. A portion of the first cylindrical structure is configured to fit within a paint roller frame and to form a seal sufficient to permit water to fill an inner cavity of the paint roller frame and cascade over an outer surface of a paint roller cover so as to wash off the paint.
CLEANER
A cleaning apparatus; said apparatus combining mechanical combing action and liquid flow to remove detritus from frond-like structures.
Devices for Drying a Brush and Methods of Operating the Same
A device for drying the bristles of a brush, the device including a body with an air-moving component; and a brush holder, the brush holder configured to hold at least one brush substantially horizontal and, further, so that the bristles of the brush are in the flow of air from the air-moving component.
A device for drying the bristles of a brush, the device including a body with an air-moving component, and a brush holder, the brush holder configured to hold at least one brush at an angle of up to 35 degrees from a horizontal plane and, further, so that the bristles of the brush are in the flow of air form the air-moving component.
PAINT ROLLER COVER CLEANER
A paint roller cover cleaner for cleaning a paint roller cover. The paint roller cover cleaner has one or more nozzles that spray the cover and that may each produce a fan-shaped jet in a plane that is at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the roller cover. The paint roller cover cleaner may also have a clamp for clamping a handle of the paint roller, another nozzle for cleaning an enclosure of the paint roller cover cleaner, a lid for the enclosure that drips within the mouth of the enclosure and does not move laterally across the roller cover to open. A system including a paint roller cover cleaner and a fluid supply that can contain the paint roller cover cleaner is also provided.
Paint Roller Cleaning Device
The present invention relates to a device for thoroughly cleaning paint rollers. The device is comprised of a paint roller cleaning device comprised of a first half, comprised of an opening and at least one connector. The first half attaches to a second half having at least one opening and at least one notch. The connector can connect to a hose to allow water to be supplied to the device. After a paint roller has been placed into the opening of the second half, the roller can be secured to the second half by positioning the stem and handle of the roller into the notch and wherein water can flow through the opening of the first half into the second half and out the opening of the second half to clean the paint roller.
Method for paint removal from paint roller
A paint roller removal tool has two semi-cylindrical portions and a hinge connecting them to form a cylinder in the closed position. By squeezing the cylinder, over top of a paint roller cover, first and second inner rings engage the roller cover to remove paint as the paint roller removal tool is moved from one end to another. One, two, three or more passes can be made to remove paint from the roller cover. Squeezing the cylinder further allows firm gripping of the roller cover to enable it to be removed from the paint roller frame and/or attached to the paint roller frame without a hand ever touching the roller cover.
Paint roller cover cleaner
A paint roller cover cleaner including an enclosure for a roller cover, a high pressure pump and a nozzle supplied with pressurised fluid which directs a jet of fluid at the nap of the roller cover to rotate the roller cover and facilitate cleaning. In one embodiment a carriage moves the nozzle along the length of the roller cover to effect cleaning along the length of the roller cover. In another embodiment a plurality of controllable nozzles are provided at intervals along the length of the roller cover. In another embodiment the nozzle includes an inner sleeve and an outer sleeve which relatively rotate to align apertures in the respective sleeves to produce jets sequentially along the nozzle.
Ultimate rinse cup brush cleaning system
A set of molded silicone rubber devices is used for cleaning a variety of paint brushes in a variety of containers. A circular basic paint puck is molded silicone rubber with paint-cleaning teeth and a diameter matching the bottom of a standard coffee cup or else a standard disposable paint mixing cup of 8 oz, 16 oz, 32 oz or 64 oz. A bucket puck has a diameter fitting a 1-gallon or 5-gallon paint bucket and is suitable for large, heavy brushes. An expansible paint puck doubles in size when submerged in turpenoid paint solvent and has a silicone rubber purity and hardness ensuring uniform expansion and contraction. A paint puck set includes solvent container, stable footing and ultimate rinse cup topper with brush holders, flexible cup grip, brush scraping surfaces and drip tray.
CAVITATION BASED CLEANING
The novel cavitation based cleaning devices preferably contain one or more cavitation creating elements and a reservoir holding the cavitation creating elements with an opening for introduction of an item in proximity to the cavitation creating elements. The reservoir may be or include a water filled reservoir. Collapse of bubbles created by the cavitation creating elements preferably pulls debris from the item. In some aspects, the reservoir is configured to permit introduction of an item comprising a paint brush. The debris may include wet, semi-dry, and/or dry paint on and/or inside the paint brush. The cavitation creating elements may include cylinders that spin in opposite directions within the reservoir. Cavitation is preferably created without using transonic methods or elements. Aspects of the invention also include methods performed by and/or using the novel cavitation based cleaning devices disclosed herein.
