A device and method for one-handed securing and controlling of a container with decreased stress and pressure upon the thumb, wrist, forearm and hand of the user. The device utilizes an attached spring-activated swivel gate hook to engage the semi-circular bale handle of a can in various positions that allow for maximum control and flexibility in the manipulation of the container combined with the freedom to adjust the grip of the can without giving up the option to work with both hands. The weight of the can, is in all situations, is equally distributed and centered at the point of flexion of the wrist. Ease of movement is accomplished while supporting the hand, wrist and lower forearm of the user.

Disclosed is a dripless paint can and paint can lid. The device includes a cylindrical paint can having an inner rim disposed along the top end thereof. The inner rim includes a plurality of apertures separated at regular intervals. The apertures are adapted to drain excess paint that sits on the inner rim into the interior of the paint can. The paint can may further include a pivotally attached handle thereon to facilitate the transportation of paint. The present invention further includes a paint can lid having a plurality of protruding members thereon. The protruding members are also separated at regular intervals and can be directly aligned to the apertures on the inner rim of the paint can so that each of the protruding members can be inserted into an aperture. The protruding members lock within the apertures, thereby improving the seal between the paint can and paint can lid.

Holder devices for bulk paint cans comprising planar ergonomic handles having a C-shaped “jaw” that engages only the conventional upper, lip rim of a paint can so that the can may be held at a conveniently inclined angle in one hand during brush painting to permit unobstructed access to the paint. The jaw is common for all sizes of paint cans, as the ring-type can lip is common in its radial dimension and thickness. A slot with optional keeper is provided to retain bails. Three embodiments are shown: a Universal type and two dedicated types, for Quart and Gallon cans, respectively. A magnet provided on the holder retains a paint brush oriented over the paint contents to catch drips. The transition section of the holder is flat to provide a surface on which the holder can be stood upright, and as a hammer to reseal the paint can lid.

The storage container can include a container body having a shape, which may be a circular shape, polygonal shape, or a rounded-polygonal shape. The container body includes a side wall having first and second ends. The storage container with a spout can include a first opening with a corresponding lid and the spout providing a second opening with a corresponding cap. The storage container can further include a handle formed with an aperture through a side of the container body.

The seal extends downward into the container and the seal includes a notch to facilitate the placement of the seal into the container.
