PLASMA SOURCE AND METHOD FOR REMOVING MATERIALS FROM SUBSTRATES UTILIZING PRESSURE WAVES
In a method is provided for removing a material from a substrate, a plasma is generated at atmospheric pressure. The plasma includes an energetic species reactive with one or more components of the material. The plasma is flowed from an outlet as a plasma plume that includes periodic regions of high plasma density and low plasma density. The material is exposed to the plasma plume. At least one component of the material reacts with the energetic species, and at least one other component of the material is physically impacted and moved by one or more of the regions of high plasma density.
SWIVEL PREP TOOL
Provide is a tool that includes a handle assembly including a top and bottom portion and a blade disposed between the top and bottom portion having first and second ends and an opening at its first end. The opening includes first and second notches opposed to one another. The tool also includes a latch assembly disposed between the top and bottom portion that is movable between first and second positions, the latch assembly including a latch having a protrusion that engages one of the first or second notches in the first position and disengages from the one of the first or second notches in the second position. The blade is rotatable about the first end between a closed positioned where the first notch is engaged by the protrusion, and an open position where the second notch is engaged by the protrusion.
Dual-bladed scraper with a rotatable blade-retaining head
A dual-bladed scraper includes a handle extending between a proximal end including a grip portion and a distal end extending forwardly of the proximal end. A blade-retaining head is rotatably mounted to the distal end for pivotal movement about a head-rotation axis. The head has opposed first and second ends configured for retaining, respectively, first and second scraping blades on mutually opposite sides of the head-rotation axis about which the head is pivotable between first and second angular positions. The first angular position is such that the first blade is in a deployed attitude and the second blade is shrouded in a non-deployed attitude beneath the handle. Conversely, the second angular position is such that the second blade is in a deployed attitude and the first blade is shrouded in a non-deployed attitude beneath the handle.

Hand held building tools
The present invention is directed generally to tools that are made, at least in part, more durable, particularly one or more working surface(s) of the tools. For example, various tools such as trowels, knives, and scrapers may be made having at least a portion of their blades heat treated to make at least their working edges more durable and extend their useful lives. For example, in various embodiments, a putty knife, taping knife, or scraper blade may have at least one working surface or edge that has been at heat treated while an area of the blade where a handle is permanently attached is not heat treated.
Ceiling texture scraping assembly
A ceiling texture scraping assembly includes a pan that may be manipulated having the pan being positioned beneath a ceiling. A plurality of fasteners is provided. Each of the fasteners extends through an associated one of the tabs and engaging an associated one of the lateral walls. Thus, each of the lateral walls is coupled to the outer wall. A sleeve is coupled to and extends away from the pan and the sleeve may be gripped. A blade is coupled to the pan. The blade frictionally engages texture on the ceiling. Thus, the blade to removes the texture from the ceiling.
Device for applying heat radiation to a surface
A device (1) for applying heat radiation to a surface, for softening and/or removing one or more coatings, includes a head assembly (2) and a handle assembly (3) connected to the head assembly. The head assembly includes at least one heat radiation element (6) arranged in a reflector unit (4), which has an aperture intended to be directed towards the surface to be radiated. The head assembly and the handle assembly are separated by a clearance and at least one heat dissipating member that spans the clearance connects a first attachment area (14) of the head assembly and a second attachment area (16) of the handle assembly. At least a portion of the heat dissipating member has a curvature such that the length of the heat dissipating member exceeds the distance between the first and second attachment areas.
Paint pot pro
A paint-pot/kettle includes a manually detachable/attachable multi-use tool-handle. The paint-pot/kettle holds substances, such as paint, for the use with a brush and/or mini-roller. The paint-pot/kettle includes: angled/magnetized brush-rest, wiping-blade, mini-roller-glide, mini-roller-holder, belt-clip/loops, removable/replaceable plastic pot-liners to line the internal of the paint-pot/kettle, ergonomically-designed plastic handle (referred to as the multi-use tool-handle), and male component of the manual-locking system to attach/detach the multi-use tool-handle from the paint-pot/kettle. The multi-use tool-handle has multi-use functions including: mallet to close paint tins, paint tin openers, mini-roller cleaning-aid, shark-tooth brush cleaning-aid, scraping blade, beer bottle opener, female component of the female-to-male locking-system designed to attach the multi-use tool-handle to pot/kettle.
SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING THE TRANSPORTATION OF HANGERS
A rack includes a first and second substantially horizontal rail extending between a first and second substantially vertical rail. Upper portions of hangers used to suspend parts for powder coating, are suspended over an upper surface of the first substantially horizontal rail. A second substantially horizontal rail is moveably attached to the vertical rails so that it may be selectively moved into contact with the first substantially horizontal rail, thereby trapping the upper portion of the suspended hangers between the first and second substantially horizontal rails so they may be transported for cleaning.
