The present invention is directed towards an apparatus, a system and a method for creating a pixel canvas artwork. A pixel canvas art apparatus may contain a receiving layer that includes multiple segmented components, each of which may be enclosed by a fluid-resistant boundary. One or more water-based markings may be absorbed by the receiving layer at multiple segmented components and may be prevented from transferring throughout the receiving layer by the fluid-resistance boundaries. The one or more water-based markings may be absorbed at multiple segmented components in a manner that creates a pixel canvas artwork. Both a system for producing a pixel canvas artwork and a method for creating a pixel canvas artwork may include components similar to the pixel canvas art apparatus that may be used to create a pixel canvas artwork.

A modular poster print stretch frame for displaying a variety of sizes of poster prints. The modular poster print stretch frame may comprise a plurality of modular frame sections, each having a section body and two or more connectors disposed on at least two faces of the section body, each connector being configured to link the modular frame section to at least one other modular frame section. Modular frame sections may also include a plurality of retaining structures which may be used to retain a fabric sheet, such as a poster print. Some or all of the modular frame sections may be substantially identical to and interchangeable with each other, allowing for simple and easy assembly of the modular poster print stretch frame to a variety of sizes.

A method of applying tension to a canvas that is secured to a frame structure composed of frame members and corner pieces, wherein the frame members are interconnected using corner pieces adapted to receive ends of the frame members to form the frame structure, and wherein each of the frame members comprises a longitudinal axis. The method includes securing the canvas to a frame member; rotating the frame member around a rotation axis that is parallel with the length of the frame member, wherein the canvas, secured to the frame member, increases intension due to the rotation; and fixing the rotated frame member in the rotated position using the corner piece such that the increase in tension in the canvas is preserved.

A compact travel art kit. The Kit solves three major issues, lacking in combination in other kits: 1. The embodied invention is to add coatings to a base board that will create three dimensional liquid art when a suitable liquid (such as water) is added to the board surface. In a preferred embodiment, a super hydrophobic coating is applied to the base board and then a hydrophilic coating in the shape of art is applied. A liquid will naturally collect into the hydrophilic areas of the board to form defined artistic shapes and is repelled by super hydrophobic areas. Alternatively, in other embodiments, the board can be selected with a natural super hydrophobic surface or a natural hydrophilic surface, and then a hydrophilic coating or a super hydrophobic coating, respectively, is applied in an art shape.

A modular poster print stretch frame for displaying a variety of sizes of poster prints. An aqueous inorganic or hybrid binder composition includes (as % by weight of the solid matter): from 55 to 100% of at least one alkali metal silicate exhibiting an Si/alkali metal weight ratio which varies from 0.3 to 2, from 0 to 35% of at least one plasticizing agent, and from 0 to 10% of one or more additives. Fibrous products can obtained from this composition, in particular based on mineral fibers, such as mats, screens, woven fabrics, in particular painter's canvases, and knitted fabrics.

The current invention may include an improved canvas wrap frame mount having an upper and a lower display support that may be secured along the top and bottom surfaces of a canvas wrap picture by a plurality of low profile adjustable couplers. In another embodiment, the invention may include an extendable canvas wrap frame mount having an upper and a lower display support that may be independently expandable along the length of a leading edge of a canvas wrap.
