Metal poster with relief printed frame
11094231 · 2021-08-17 · ·

A metal poster is formed with an integral frame which is relief printed on the obverse face of a sheet metal plate with layers of UV curable inks. Image indicia imprinted on the plate is surrounded by the relief printed frame. The ink layers extend into selvage areas of the plate. The selvage areas are folded over to the rear face of the sheet metal plate to provide the frame with relief printed rounded peripheral edges.

ART CANVAS WITH BUILT-IN FOLDABLE FRAME
20210237505 · 2021-08-05 · ·

An integrated canvas and frame includes a substantially planar sheet having a first plurality of channels and a second plurality of channel formed therein. The first plurality of channels extends along a first axis and the second plurality of channels extends along a second axis. Each channel extends from a first planar surface of the substantially planar sheet into the substantially planar sheet. A plurality of corner sections are configured to be detached from the substantially planar sheet to define one or more foldable portions. The foldable portions defines a subset of the first plurality of channels or a subset of the second plurality of channels. A first plurality of internal perforations is formed in at least one of the one or more foldable portions. The plurality of internal perforations define one or more coupling features configured to retain the one or more foldable portions in a folded position.

FRAME FOR FIXING CANVAS
20210300108 · 2021-09-30 ·

Provided is a canvas frame including a first frame which is made of a metal material and connected, formed in a rectangular frame shape, and provided so that a part of a front surface is in contact with a canvas, and has a body part in which the inside is hollowed and inner and outer fastening parts connected to inner and outer surfaces of the body part, respectively; and a second frame which is made of a foam synthetic resin and has an insertion groove formed on the upper portion so that the body part is inserted, a support part formed so that an edge of the canvas is fixed and supported to the lower portion thereof by a fixing member, and inner and outer insertion parts which are formed on inner and outer surfaces of the support part, respectively, to be inserted and fastened to the inner and outer fastening parts.

HANDLE DEVICE

A handle device for a canvas panel includes a main body having a grip member, the grip member being an elongated body with one or more curved gripping surfaces. The handle device further includes a pin protruding from the main body, wherein the handle device is removably attachable to the canvas panel by inserting the pin into the canvas panel.

Rotating painting apparatus
11019927 · 2021-06-01 ·

A rotating painting apparatus includes a predetermined number of painting stations rotatably mounted to a base plate and each station having 2, 3, 4, or more faces on which to apply paint. A painting station includes a bottom wall from which a drive shaft by which the bottom wall is rotatably coupled to the base plate. Rotation of the drive shaft causes the painting station to swivel, i.e. to rotate. The stretched frame member includes upstanding side support members extending from the bottom wall and about which a length of canvas may be stretched to form a painting station having two faces (front and rear), three faces (triangular), or four faces (cube), and so on. The rotating painting apparatus may include a plurality of frame assemblies adjacent to yet separated from one another. A chain drive operated by a drive motor enables all of the frame assemblies to be rotated together.

Method of applying artwork to a 3D plate

The present disclosure is directed to articles configured as panels of artwork, methods of manufacturing the same, and methods of permanently transferring a coloring media to such articles. More particularly, the exemplary articles and methods for forming the same are configured to accept many types of coloring media on a surface thereof through use of a color-receptive layer.

System for mounting a covering upon a frame

A system for mounting a covering (e.g., a fabric material) upon a frame is constructed from a plurality of elongated frame parts. Each frame part has two mitered ends and a channel formed therein. The related mounting method includes the steps of: (a) using a jig to hold the fabric material against the frame; (b) inserting a plurality of retaining splines within respective channels so as to capture the fabric material within the channels between one retaining spline and a corresponding floor of the channel, whereby a plurality of corner pleats are formed; and (c) using a tool to invert each corner pleat into a corner joint formed between respective adjacent frame parts so as to form an internal fold at each corner of the frame.

Stretcher for a frame

The present invention relates to a device for separating first and second abutting frame sections of an assembled canvas frame. The device comprises first (1) and second (2) plate members, wherein the first plate member (1) is adapted for insertion into a groove in the first frame section of the assembled frame, and the second plate member (2) is adapted for insertion into a groove in the second frame section of the assembled frame. The first and second plate members (1, 2) are interconnected and the first plate member (1) is moveable in relation to the second plate member (2). Movement of the first plate member (1) results in separation of the frame sections. The present invention further comprises a method for separating first and second abutting frame sections.

Method and system for mounting a sheet

A method for mounting a sheet delimited by edges substantially in a plane, the method involving providing a plurality of corner segments on the back of the sheet at least in the vicinity of corners between two edges; and connecting the corner segments by fitting at least one mounting member in between the corner segments, attaching each corner segment to a connection member, which is flexible and glued to the back of the sheet, and subsequently forcing the corner segments apart outwardly substantially in the plane.
