A head-measuring device is disclosed and includes a support frame. The head-measuring device also includes a plurality of movable arms comprising a first set of movable arms and a second set of movable arms. The first set includes a first outermost arm, the second set includes a second outermost arm opposite the first outermost arm, and each movable arm is movable between a first position and a second position. The head-measuring device also includes a stationary arm coupled to the support frame such that the stationary arm is approximately equidistant between the outermost arms as the outermost arms are moved between the first and second positions. The plurality of movable arms are parallel to each other and to the stationary arm. The first and second sets of movable arms are mechanically linked such that the first set moves synchronously with the second set between the first and second positions.

A head-measuring device is disclosed and includes a support frame. A method of creating decorative artwork including providing a wall-mountable substrate having a paint-receiving upper surface and a wall-mounting surface opposite the paint-receiving upper surface, applying a first coat of resin to the paint-receiving upper surface, applying a metallic substance to the paint-receiving upper surface, and applying a sealer including a quantity of volatile organic compounds to the paint-receiving upper surface at a velocity sufficient to disperse at least one of the first coat of resin and the metallic substance in a plurality of directions with respect to the paint-receiving upper surface to create at least one decorative marking.

A pendulum decorating apparatus having a base, an arm coupled to the base and extending upward from the base, a tether coupled to a portion of the arm above the base, and a pot coupled to the tether. The pot is configured to contain a decorating material, and the pot is configured to swing with respect to the arm via the tether while releasing the decorating material through a discharge opening of the pot. The arm may be coupled to a tilt tray supported by the base with the arm and tilt tray configured to tilt together with respect to the base. The pot may include a container configured to contain the decorating material and a stopper movable to close or open the discharge opening of the pot. The pot may include a plurality of chambers each configured to contain a different color or type of decorating material.

A pendulum decorating apparatus having a base, an arm coupled to the base and extending upward from the base, a tether coupled to a portion of the arm above the base, and a pot coupled to the tether. An apparatus for making spin art is provided. In the apparatus, a spinnable platen is conformed for removably supporting a substrate, a stroboscope is arranged for flash illumination of a substrate mounted on the spinnable platen, and at least one laser pointer is cooperatively configured with a pigment depositor such that in operation, the pointer illuminates the substrate portion that is user-selected for deposition of pigment material by the pigment depositor.

An apparatus for making spin art is provided. In the apparatus, a spinnable platen is conformed for removably supporting a substrate, a stroboscope is arranged for flash illumination of a substrate mounted on the spinnable platen, and at least one laser pointer is cooperatively configured with a pigment depositor such that in operation, the pointer illuminates the substrate portion that is user-selected for deposition of pigment material by the pigment depositor.

A spin art stamp creating device includes a tray, a spinner platform, and a stamper. The tray includes a raised shelf therein, wherein the raised shelf includes a centrally-located hole. The spinner platform is configured to be received within the tray. The spinner platform has a central opening, wherein the central opening is configured to receive a ball bearing. The ball bearing defines a central hole which overlies and aligns with the centrally-located hole of the tray. The stamper includes a post configured to be received by both the central hole of the ball bearing and the centrally-located hole of the tray, such that the stamper and the spinner platform are configured to simultaneously rotate within the tray about the ball bearing of the spinner platform.

A spin art stamp creating device includes a tray, a spinner platform, and a stamper. The tray includes a raised shelf therein, wherein the raised shelf includes a centrally-located hole. The spinner platform is configured to be received within the tray. The spinner platform has a central opening, wherein the central opening is configured to receive a ball bearing. The ball bearing defines a central hole which overlies and aligns with the centrally-located hole of the tray. The stamper includes a post configured to be received by both the central hole of the ball bearing and the centrally-located hole of the tray, such that the stamper and the spinner platform are configured to simultaneously rotate within the tray about the ball bearing of the spinner platform.

The present invention provides a drawing tool for an artist, draughtsman or hobbyist etc., the drawing tool comprising a handle and a retaining means disposed on the handle. The retaining means being adapted to releasably retain an elongate drawing material, such as a graphite lead, in an orientation substantially transverse to the axis of the handle. In use, manipulation of the handle and selective application of pressure to the elongate drawing material enables the drawing material to be applied to a drawing surface to thereby control the degree of shading on the drawing surface. The hand tool has particular application to reliably rendering gradients when shading with graphite and chalk etc. To be accompanied, when published, by FIG. 1 of the drawings, deposit varying thicknesses of graphite on the paper to modify the gradient of the shading.
