COUPLER FOR CONNECTING LINES
A coupling device for connecting first and second chalk lines includes a generally planar body portion having a first end, a second end and opposed sides edges, an aperture formed in the body portion adjacent to the first end for attaching a free end of a first chalk line to the coupling device, and a plurality of spaced apart and linearly aligned hooks extending from the body portion adjacent to one of the side edges, the plurality of hooks defining a channel for receiving a second chalk line therethrough. Each of the hooks includes a clearance portion for insertion of the second chalk line into the channel defined by the plurality of hooks.
Chalk line device
A chalk line device that includes a housing, a reel mounted for rotation within the housing, a liquid container disposed within the housing, and a handle connected with the reel and extending outside the housing is provided. The reel is constructed and arranged to carry a chalk line wound thereon. The reel is positioned in the liquid container such that the chalk line wound therein is at least partially submerged in the liquid chalk received in the liquid container. The liquid container has a sealed configuration and an unsealed configuration. In the unsealed configuration, the liquid container is configured to receive liquid chalk therein. In the sealed configuration, the liquid container substantially seals the liquid chalk received therein. The handle is operable to wind up the chalk line onto the reel.

LINE DRAWING TOOL
A line drawing tool includes a body; a reel that is rotatably provided in the body and that includes flanges on two ends of a thread winding shaft; a thread that is wound around the thread winding shaft and that is drawn out to outside of the body with powder that is enclosed in the body being adhered to the thread; and a clearance that is formed between the flanges of the reel and the body, the clearance being provided for allowing the powder that accumulates between the body and the flanges to escape.

DEVICE FOR MARKING LINES
A device for marking lines that includes: a strike line series of markings along the length of the strike line; a container, wherein container encloses the strike line during non-use within the container, wherein the reel holds the strike line; and an opening within the container adapted to allow the extension of the strike line over a flat surface. The markings along the strike line are preferably spaced at 16 inches apart.

CHALK LINE HOUSING WITH CARTRIDGE TEAR MOUNT
A chalk line reel system includes a chalk cartridge having a cartridge housing including a chalk compartment at least partially filled with chalk and a chalk dispensing opening to the chalk compartment. The chalk cartridge has a frangible seal closing the chalk dispensing opening. The chalk line reel system includes a chalk line housing having an interior space, a mount structure for releasably mounting the chalk cartridge, and a seal breaking structure configured to break the frangible seal to allow chalk to be dispensed from the chalk compartment into the interior space with the chalk cartridge engaged in the mount structure. The chalk line reel system includes a reel mounted to the housing for rotation relative to the housing about a reel axis, and a chalk line wound around the reel and engageable with chalk contained in the interior space.
