Curved acrylic decorated article
A curved acrylic photographic article and process for making same comprising of an optically clear acrylic layer and an adjacent synthetic organic polymer containing both light scattering particulate and diffused disperse dyes. The layered article being thermodynamically formed into a curved or other shape immediately subsequent to receiving a graphic decoration by dye diffusion thermal transfer.
Article with dynamic frame formed with aligned pigment flakes
An article includes a substrate and a graphical component forming an image and an optical component which includes magnetic pigment flakes aligned so as to form a frame pattern which surrounds the image. When light is incident upon the pigment flakes from a light source, light reflected from the frame pattern forms a dynamic frame which surrounds the image and appears to move as the substrate is tilted with respect to the light source. The image appears to be stationary when the dynamic frame appears to move.

ARTICLE WITH CURVED PATTERNS FORMED OF ALIGNED PIGMENT FLAKES
In a printed article, pigment flakes are magnetically aligned so as to form curved patterns in a plurality of cross-sections normal a continuous imaginary line, wherein radii of the curved patterns increase along the imaginary line from the first point to the second point. When light is incident upon the aligned pigment flakes from a light source, light reflected from the aligned pattern forms a bright image which appears to gradually change its shape and move from one side of the continuous imaginary line to another side of the continuous imaginary line when the substrate is tilted with respect to the light source.

ANISOTROPIC TEXTURED SURFACE
A part includes a surface that having a rich textured appearance formed by an anisotropic repeating pattern including first regions having a first microtexture, and second regions having a second microtexture different from the first microtexture. A metalized layer covers the regions and presents different finishes depending on the microtexture thereunder. In an example embodiment, the first microtexture is highly reflective and the second microtexture is rough to cause a non-specular reflection of incident light. The part may include three-dimensional structures arranged to correspond with the repeating pattern. The three-dimensional structures may be spaced-apart by a base plane that may be flat or which may include some texture or structure. The three-dimensional structures may each include one or more planar portions and/or one or more curved surfaces. Each face or surface of the three-dimensional structures and/or each region of the base plane may have one or more different microtextures.
Decorative sheet and decorative molded article
Provided is a decorative sheet (100) including: a transmissive substrate (10) which is sheet-like or plate-like; a light reflective projection portion (20) formed over the light transmissive substrate (10); and a black layer (30) formed over the light reflective projection portion (20), in which an average height of the light reflective projection portions (20) is 1 to 200 pm, and the black layer (30) is formed by using a black ink satisfying conditions below.

Decorative material
In a decorative material, a matting agent is added to, of a first gloss-adjusting layer and a second gloss-adjusting layer, one with lower gloss, where the matting agent has a particle diameter of less than 1.0 times the thickness of the gloss-adjusting layer with lower gloss. The matting agent can be thereby exposed to the surface while floating in the gloss-adjusting layer. Accordingly, a sufficient matting effect can be obtained in front observation, and unevenness imparted to the surface can be reduced; thus, the effect of scattering obliquely entering light is weakened, and the matting effect can be reduced when observed obliquely. Therefore, a picture pattern expressed by the difference in gloss, i.e., a design, can be made invisible when observed obliquely.
Decorative Material
A decorative material includes a base material, a first cover layer, and a second cover layer. The first cover layer is laminated on the base material and covers the base material. The first cover layer is made of opaque synthesis resin. The second cover layer is laminated on the first cover layer and covers the first cover layer. The second cover layer is made of chromatic and transparent synthesis resin. The first cover layer contains first coloring pigment and bright pigment. The first coloring pigment has no luster. The bright pigment has luster. The second cover layer contains second coloring pigment. The second coloring pigment has no luster.
