Image display with leather image substrate

An image display including an image substrate and a support structure. The image substrate includes a layer of leather material and has an image printed on a first surface. The support structure can include a front sheet, a back sheet and a plurality of side strips secured between the front sheet and the back sheet for forming a closed support structure. The image substrate can overlie an external surface of the front sheet so that the front sheet forms a rigid backing for the image substrate.

Iridescent vehicle applique

A vehicle is provided that includes a vehicle surface and a vehicle applique in direct contact with the vehicle surface. The applique includes a polymeric substrate and an over-mold positioned on the substrate. The over-mold comprises a diffraction grating integral with the over-mold, the grating having a thickness from about 250 nm to 1000 nm and a period from 50 nm to 5 microns.

Vacuum Forming Methods for Making Printed Images with Three-Dimensional Features
20250083374 · 2025-03-13 · ·

A vacuuming forming method for creating an embellished reproduction of an image. The image is printed on to a thermoformable substrate to create a printed substrate. A chemical compound is applied to a surface of a perforated sheet to form artistic embellishments on the surface and create an embellished sheet. The printed substrate is positioned over the embellished sheet placed on a vacuum table. Heat is applied to the printed substrate and sufficient vacuum is provided to the vacuum table to press the printed substrate on to the embellished sheet to form an embellished reproduction of the image from the printed substrate. The perforated sheet can have a three-dimensional surface, which can be included in the embellished reproduction.

METHOD FOR ENHANCING AN IMAGE AND ENHANCED PRINTED IMAGE WITH THREE-DIMENSIONAL FEATURES
20250074105 · 2025-03-06 · ·

A method for enhancing an image. A sheet having an image formed thereon, and a digital file of the image, are provided. Three-dimensional artistic embellishments having features are applied to an area of the image on the sheet. The image in the digital file is modified in the area to resemble at least some of the features of the artistic embellishments applied to the image on the sheet. The modifications may be the addition of color to the area. A print of the modified image with three-dimensional artistic embellishments is provided.

System and method of pointillist painting

A method of pointillist painting includes receiving a dot list including a specification of color, position, size, texture, and exclusion zone of a plurality of dots, wherein the exclusion zone of a dot represents an area that does not overlap with an exclusion zone of any other of the plurality of dots and selecting a first set of dots of a first color. A colorant dispenser may be moved to a first position of a first dot in the first set. A pre-determined amount of colorant may be applied to the first position. A measured blast of air may modify coverage and profile of the applied colorant. The dispenser may then move to the remaining positions until all dots of the first color and subsequent sets of dots of subsequent colors are dispensed.
