WHEEL, WHEEL SERIES, AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING WHEEL SERIES
A vehicle wheel includes a wheel substrate made of metal and a colored coating layer located on a surface of the wheel substrate. An outer side surface of the wheel includes a first region, a second region, and a groove located between the first and second regions. The colored coating layer covering the wheel substrate is located over the groove. A color of the surface of the wheel substrate is visible at least in the first or second region.
Aluminum alloy wheel and method for manufacturing the same
An aluminum alloy wheel for a vehicle is provided, which includes: a wheel central portion, a rim portion, and a plurality of radial elements, wherein the aluminum alloy wheel is processed by centrifugal casting and forging to form a central portion with a morphology exhibiting a grain size variation with decreasing gradient in a lateral direction from an inner side of the wheel central portion to an outer side thereof.
Integrally injection molded wheel with high stability
A stable, low-weight wheel which is particularly suitable for high system-weight bicycles, such as electrically powered bicycles and cargo bikes, includes a hub, at least three solid-body spokes disposed rotationally symmetrical to the wheel axis, and a rim. The body of the hub, spokes and rim is made in one piece by injection molding of a glass-fiber reinforced thermoplastic. The spokes have an S-shaped cross-section with an opening angle which increases in the direction of the rim, taper from the rim towards the hub in a central cross-section of the wheel, and taper from the hub towards the rim in a wheel cross-section running through the center of least one spoke. A method for producing the wheel is also provided.
Cast aluminum wheel
A cast aluminum wheel includes a rim element having an annular configuration defining an axis and a central element extending radially outwardly between the axis and the rim element. The rim element includes a wall extending circumferentially around the axis between a proximal bead and a distal bead. The central element includes a plurality of spokes extending radially outwardly toward the proximal bead and meets proximate the axis with adjacent of the plurality of spokes defining a cooperative feature therebetween for providing stiffness to the wheel. The spokes progressively increase in volume in a direction toward the axis from the rim element thereby providing increased mass of the spokes proximate the axis relative to the rim element.

LIGHT ALLOY WHEEL, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME, AND DEVICE FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A method for manufacturing a light alloy wheel that includes a substantially annular rim part and a disc part that is joined to one edge of the rim part on an inner side and is to be attached to an axle. The method includes a molten metal pouring step for pouring a light alloy molten metal from a sprue opened into a mold cavity formed into a shape of the rim part, and a forced cooling step for, after the molten metal pouring step, forcibly cooling the light alloy molten metal poured into the mold cavity formed into the shape of the rim part such that one predetermined cooling unit of a plurality of cooling units provided along an entire circumference on an outer side or an inner side of the mold cavity formed into the shape of the rim part is first operated and an other cooling unit thereof is then operated.

VEHICLE WHEEL DISC, VEHICLE WHEEL INCLUDING SUCH A WHEEL DISC AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SUCH A WHEEL DISC AND VEHICLE WHEEL
A wheel disc comprises a wheel mounting portion defining a wheel axis, a plurality of spokes radially extending from the wheel mounting portion, and a rim junction on at least one spoke of the plurality of spokes. The rim junction is at an end of the at least one spoke opposite the wheel mounting portion. A first portion of the rim junction extends in an axial direction. Second and third portions of the rim junction extend in a circumferential direction. The axial direction is parallel to the wheel axis and the circumferential direction is in a plane perpendicular to the wheel axis.
