DRAG-REDUCING SHAFT TAILFIN FOR VEHICLES
An aerodynamic tailfin rotatably attached to a shaft-shaped member disposed on a vehicle. The tailfin swivels about the round shaft-shaped member for reduced drag in response to winds varying in direction impinging thereon.

Multidirectional wheel and method for manufacture of same
A multidirectional wheel in which the wheel has a wheel body rotatable about a wheel axle and having two half-shells and has a plurality of rotating bodies which are located at the outer periphery of the wheel body and via which the wheel can roll off. At least one half-shell, and preferably both half-shells, has/have mounts in which end regions of the axles of the rotating bodies are received or which project into end regions of the axles of the rotating bodies, with the mounts of the half-shells being configured as continuously converging.
Two piece rim and tire connected assembly
A two-piece rim and tire assembly. The tire is held to the rim by fasteners extending through flanges integral with the tire main body and then into the rim. Further, the outer edges of the rim clinchably mount the tire main body thereto. A flexible overhanging portion extends outwardly of the tire main body minimizing dirt and mud accumulation on the tire and rim. A bearing is held within the rim by a ring.

Automotive wheel with spoke assemblies on opposing sides
A wheel assembly for an automotive vehicle is described herein. The assembly includes a cylindrical rim, a tire around the rim, two spoke assemblies, a wheel hub, a brake assembly, and a mounting arm. The rim is symmetrical, and has a first flange on a first side of the rim and a second flange on a second side of the rim. The tire is disposed around the rim. The first spoke assembly is coupled to the first flange and has a hub-mounting structure at its center. The second spoke assembly is coupled to the second flange and has an opening at its center. The wheel hub and brake assembly are disposed inside the rim between the first and second spoke assemblies, coupled to the hub-mounting structure. The mounting arm passes through the opening at the center of the second spoke assembly and couples the wheel assembly to the vehicle.
Wheel, driving wheel, and wheelchair
Provided is a wheel (6a) in which a disk (62) includes a first rib (62a) extending in a radial direction, and protruding out on one side in a direction of a central axis a1. A hub (61) of the wheel (6a) includes a first blade portion (61d1) extending in the radial direction. At least one of a pair of side surfaces of the first rib (62a) is inclined relative to a plane including the central axis a1 of the disk (62), and the first blade portion (61d1) is fixed to the inclined side surface on one side of the central axis a1.
WHEEL FOR A SUPPORT STRUCTURE
A wheel assembly includes a plurality of discreet, axially extending curved friction plates for engaging a first side of a spoke structure of a tire assembly, a first annular rim piece for engaging a rotatable axle, and a second annular rim piece for engaging the first rim piece. The first rim piece and the second rim piece each have axially extending lugs for engaging opposite ends of the friction plates.
WHEEL SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED TRANSPORT DEVICE
The invention relates mainly to a wheel system (S) intended to be rotationally driven about a central axis (X), comprising two distinct parts (R1, R2) arranged in such a way as to be in pivoting connection with one another about the central axis (X), the wheel system (S) is designed in such a way as to occupy two positions; a first position, referred to as the mounted position, in which the two distinct parts (R1, R2) are superposed, and a second position, referred to as the standard position, in which the two distinct parts (R1, R2) are angularly offset from one another so as to form a disc in the plane (P) perpendicular to the central axis (X), the transition from the mounted position to the standard position being carried out by means of a translational movement, along the central axis (X), of one of the distinct parts (R2) with respect to the other (R1).
