Composite wheel and insert
The invention is directed to wheel (1) comprising a rim (2) and a wheel center (3). The wheel center (3) comprises and insert (10) which at least comprises a front pad (11) and a rear pad (12) which are a distance apart with respect to each other and which are at least partially embedded in a composite material (6).
VEHICLE WHEEL AND USE
A vehicle wheel may include a rim for receiving a tire and a wheel disk attached to the rim in a cohesive connection, in a force-fitting connection, and/or a form-fitting connection, with an attachment region for releasably attaching to a wheel mount. The wheel disk may be formed of a steel workpiece that is heat-treated at least in certain regions. To provide a utility vehicle wheel vehicle wheel having high operational strength and reliability relative to the prior art, the wheel disk may have at least in a transition region for attaching to the rim a heat-treated structure with at least one of a tensile strength of between 500 and 1300 MPa or a hardness of between 150 and 400 HV 0.1.
Disc Wheel with Internal Bracing
A bicycle disc wheel comprises a first disc panel and a second disc panel. The first disc panel has a first side outer surface and a first side inner surface and the second disc panel has a second side outer surface and a second side inner surface. The first side outer surface radially extends from a first disc panel outer perimeter to a center opening and the second side outer surface radially extends from a second disc panel outer perimeter to the center opening. The second side inner surface faces the first side inner surface. A brace is coupled to the first side inner surface and the second side inner surface that provide radial and axial structural support to the disc panels.

Fabricated Vehicle Wheel, Wheel Disc for Use in Such a Fabricated Vehicle Wheel and Method for Producing Such a Wheel Disc and Fabricated Vehicle Wheel
A wheel disc adapted for use in a fabricated vehicle wheel comprising a steel wheel disc defining an axis and including a center mounting portion, an outer rim connecting flange, a plurality of radially outwardly extending spokes connecting the center mounting portion to the outer rim connecting flange and a ventilation opening provided between each pair of adjacent spokes. A width defined by a center wall of the spoke is tapered inwardly along a substantial portion of a radial length thereof as the center wall of the spoke extends generally from the center mounting portion to the outer rim connecting flange or wherein a width defined by outer walls of the spoke is tapered inwardly along a substantial portion of a radial length thereof as the outer walls of the spoke extends generally from the center mounting portion to the outer rim connecting flange.

Disc Wheel for a Vehicle
An apparatus for a single-track motor vehicle includes a first wheel disc and a second wheel disc. The first wheel disc and the second wheel disc are configured on the wheel rim so as to be mutually spaced apart in a transverse direction parallel to the rotation axis (A) of the disc wheel, and extend from the wheel rim in the direction of the wheel hub. The wheel discs converge in the direction of the wheel hub and are connected to one another in such a manner that at least one cavity between the wheel discs and the wheel rim is formed. At least one cutout toward the at least one cavity is formed in a rim well of the wheel rim.
Two-part wheel spider with profile spokes
A wheel includes a rim having a rim base and a two-part wheel spider. The wheel spider includes two molded parts. The first molded part forms the spokes having an open cross-section and is joined to the second molded part. The spokes of the first molded part are completely or partially closed along the profile length by the second molded part. The wheel spider is preferably integrated in the rim in an interlocking manner. The rim and the two-part wheel spider can consist of metal, but in particular preferably of composite fiber material.

REINFORCED COMPOSITE VEHICLE WHEEL AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION THEREOF
A composite wheel assembly and method of construction thereof is provided. The composite wheel assembly includes a wheel having an inwardly facing surface, an outwardly facing surface, a generally cylindrical barrel portion, and a plurality of apertures formed about a central hub aperture. At least one wheel cladding is fixedly bonded to at least one of the inwardly facing surface, the outwardly facing surface, and the generally cylindrical barrel portion. The wheel cladding increases the stiffness and/or strength of the wheel between about 2-16% or greater as compared to the wheel not having the at least one cladding.
