Composite wheel assembly and method of manufacturing
A composite wheel assembly and method of fabricating the same is provided. The wheel assembly includes a composite wheel rim, a wheel center, and a plurality of attachment fasteners for attaching the wheel center to the wheel rim. The wheel rim includes a plurality of attachment inserts that are configured to selectively engage with respective attachment fasteners. Each attachment insert is encapsulated by a plurality of composite layers of the wheel rim or is otherwise secured to the wheel rim. The attachment inserts extend from and/or are positioned within a drop well region of the wheel rim. The method of fabricating the wheel assembly includes forming first and second preforms and positioning the same onto a mold assembly. The method further includes positioning the attachment inserts between the first and second preforms such that the attachment inserts are secured therebetween.

A RIM FOR A WHEEL
The present disclosure relates to a rim for a wheel. In one aspect, there is provided a rim for a wheel. The wheel comprising a rim, spokes, and hub. The rim depth varies wherein the section approximately half way between spoke connection points to the rim is of the greatest depth. Further, the section of rim located between the spoke connection point to the rim and the centre-point of the rim between spokes is of the shallowest depth. The spokes being of the type to provide support under forces of compression and tension. In a further aspect, there is provided a wheel comprising the rim.
TYRE FOR ELECTRIC SKATEBOARDS
A tyre for electric skateboards includes a hub and a tyre casing. The hub is sleeved with the tyre casing. The tyre casing is fixedly connected to the hub. An annular cavity is formed in the tyre casing in a circumferential direction of the tyre casing. A deformable shock absorption and noise reduction ring is fixedly disposed in the annular cavity.
VEHICLE RIM WITH A RIM BODY HAVING AT LEAST ONE FIBER BUNDLE; METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME; AND VEHICLE WHEEL
The invention relates to a vehicle rim having a rim body made from a fiber composite material, the rim body having two rim flange areas and a rim bed area connecting the two rim flange areas, and at least one rim flange area being reinforced by at least one fiber bundle and this at least one fiber bundle being surrounded by a compression wrap. The invention also relates to a vehicle wheel with the vehicle rim and to a production method for the vehicle rim.
