METHOD AND SYSTEM OF UTILIZING OVERSIZED TIRES AND/OR WHEELS ON A VEHICLE CHASSIS
Embodiments presented provide for a system installable on a vehicle chassis that compensates for wheels and tires that vary from original manufacturer equipment to allow on-board safety systems to correctly ascertain and maintain proper vehicle dynamics.
CENTER CAP ADAPTOR WITH SPECIALIZED LUG NUT
Methods and apparatus for attaching a center cap a wheel of a motor vehicle. A specialized lug nut may replace existing lug nuts to provide a threaded receiving area for a screw. The screw may be used to secure a cap in place. Some embodiments include an adapter to match a lug bolt pattern to a cap diameter size. In preferred embodiments, a lug nut is provided of specific designs, size and shape to be installable to act as a mechanism to secure a wheel to a vehicle and also act as a holder for the screw to retain the cap. The center cap may then slide onto the lug nuts (or extension that attach to the lug nuts) and then stay on by tightening a screw through the top of one or more lug nuts on each wheel.
FLOATING WHEEL COVER
The present disclosure is directed to a wheel cover that is coupled to a wheel of a vehicle utilizing a mounting assembly that has a bearing block. A retainer assembly in combination with the bearing block of the mounting assembly allows the wheel cover to be coupled to the wheel in a manner such that the wheel cover does not rotate with the forward and backward rotation of the wheel when the vehicle is being driven. The wheel cover covers the wheel and partially covers a gap or space between a tire of the wheel and a fender of the vehicle, which increases the aerodynamic performance of the vehicle. The retainer assembly provides at least one degree of freedom such that the wheel cover may move with the wheel when steering the vehicle in a leftward direction and a rightward direction.
COVER ASSEMBLY FOR WHEEL HUB
A cover assembly for removably covering a hub of a wheel rim includes a ring-shaped outer cover defining a cover central hole, and a connector having a connector outer annular wall, a connector inner annular wall extending through the cover central hole for connection with a hub inner peripheral wall of the hub and provided with a first external thread for threadedly connecting with a first internal thread of the hub, and an annular flange extending from a junction of the connector inner and outer annular walls. A first elastic ring is sleeved on the connector inner annular wall and is configured to be disposed between and abut against the connector inner annular wall and the hub inner peripheral wall.
Aerodynamic wheel covers and mounting assemblies
Aerodynamic wheel covers may include a hub assembly coupled with a hub of a large vehicle, such as a truck. A base assembly may be coupled to the hub assembly, and a disk assembly may be coupled with the base assembly such that removal and installation of the disk assembly may be accomplished without tools.

Decorative cover for motor vehicle wheels having active lighting
A decorative cover for motor vehicle wheels, which is detachably arranged in the space between spokes of a motor vehicle rim, wherein the decorative cover has active lighting, the electrical energy of which can be generated by an energy module fastened to the rear of the decorative cover, wherein the energy generation thereof works independently of the fixed components of the motor vehicle.
Wheel assembly
A wheel assembly includes a wheel having a surface and defining a plurality of slots and a cap having a cap surface. The cap includes a plurality of positioning posts extending from the cap surface, each positioning post including a pillar and a stop fixed to the pillar. The pillar extends farther from the cap surface than the stop. The stop has a distal end. Each pillar is received by one of the slots of the wheel and the distal end of each stop is engaged with the surface of the wheel.
Wheel guard to shield wheels from tire dressing
A wheel guard includes a cover having a cone shape with an outer surface, an inner surface, a top end, a bottom rim, a first terminal edge running from the top end to the bottom rim, and a second terminal edge opposite the first terminal edge and running from the top end to the bottom rim. A coupler is configured to releasably couple the first terminal edge to a plurality of different radial points of the cover, thereby adjusting a diameter of the bottom rim.
